Yes............but most teams used to cold and windy weather are smarter as to when to or not to try to kick FGs (specifically as concerns maximum distance).

Here is a list of available FA CBs. Most are around age 30+. One name that jumps out at me is Emmanuel Moseley, who was with DeMeco in San Fran.

Just checked and Foley Fatukasi's contract has finally been posted, it's 1yr 2.8M. If he gets/stays healthy that will be a nice deal for the Texans.

I agree on the lookout for released players from teams that have a solid lineup.

My thoughts on Arnette have not changed since he has been signed. Hopefully i’m wrong. On the plus side, I am wrong quite often

I’m not expecting him to be signed. Especially after Ward’s recent arrest (bad look PR wise imo).

But even if he were… I wouldn’t expect him to be any more than a camp body. He was overdrafted as a prospect and couldn’t get/stay on the field when he wasn’t in trouble off the field.

Myles Bryant was a UDFA in Arnette’s draft class. And I would not expect Arnette to beat out Bryant given what they’ve put on film. And Bryant is more a back end roster guy.

First Ward and now Arnette. Keep this up, and Jerry Jones might buy this team.

I’m not actually sure I would.

In theory having him as CB3 is great insurance but the worst type of backup for insurance is the one that’s injured more than the actual starters are and that’s Alexander.

It really reminds me of the Dameon Pierce situation and how almost regardless of play if he’s injured every time Mixon is then he simply cannot be RB2.

Gruden says Arnette is a changed man................but when he was caught this past Feb with what he denies was meth what was he doing possessing a gun after previous gun charges? Doesn't seem like he's made the change...........a slow learner???
