I've noticed in this game and the last he hasn't attempted to run left behind Green and Fisher who are both better run blockers. I'm wondering this is less about Pierce and more about Slowik wanting to evaluate the right side of the line.

I’d have to see the replay but on Pierces run from the end zone he seemed to stand up rather than duck and drive?

That said we basically don't even have the backups in anymore. This is a lot of 3rd and 4th stringers out there. I'm already seeing a lot of dudes that I doubt are on the 53.
