Because I just love thinking about the draft. What will our needs be? What will our draft position be? Who knows? Starting off with this guy who looks like miniature Beast Mode:

I'm with you man, the draft is a happy way to waste one's time!Because I just love thinking about the draft. What will our needs be? What will our draft position be? Who knows? Starting off with this guy who looks like miniature Beast Mode:
Last question, first. 1.32What will our needs be? What will our draft position be?
I would also add LB to this list.It is really early, but the positions on my watchlist are DT and WR, much like they were at this time last year. Luckily, if the internet is to believed, the next draft should be pretty deep at those positions.
Born to Run !!I'm with you man, the draft is a happy way to waste one's time!
I'll never say no to a quality RB, but neither will I say no to a quality OL.
I just want to see CJ at ease back there - picking the eyeballs out of defenses.
Yep, Deone Walker might be the best dl in cfb. Nolen has upside but his motor runs hot and cold. I think he's a sophomore this year too. TAMU has quite a few guys in thar dline tooAt the moment, it looks like the 2025 draft is going to be a strong one at the DT position. A number of analyst believe Mason Graham, DT from Michigan would have been the first defensive linemen taken in the 2024 draft had he been eligible. Deone Walker, Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolen, and Tyleik Williams should all be first round picks. Depending on where the Texans pick, one of them should be there for them. And that's where I'd go.
CB looks to be another good group of prospects for the '25 NFL draft. Will Johnson could be in the running as a top three pick, out of range for the Texans. Joining him in the first round should be Travis Hunter, Benjamin Morrison, Denzel Burke, and Ricardo Hallman.
That's a lot of good players to choose from. Hopefully the Texans don't screw it up by winning the Super Bowl and missing out on the opportunity to draft a good player, like they did that one time when they won the last game of the season and missed out on drafting Bryce Young.
You never know. They might want to go get CJ his old WR.First question. Are we trading up![]()
Really like your players especially so early. I like even better that you have not been blasted as of yet for daring to post such a draft at this time. The only thing vociferously disagree with you on is the draft pick placement.Okay, y'all forced me to do it. The Texans 2025 mock draft. This one should be as good as the one I did this year as well. lol

Denzel Burke made some $ for himself returning to school. At the moment, it looks like the 2025 draft is going to be a strong one at the DT position. Can catch, break tackles, has great balance and vision, tough to bring down, great spin move.Because I just love thinking about the draft. What will our needs be? What will our draft position be? Who knows? Starting off with this guy who looks like miniature Beast Mode:

Yep, if he keeps that up, should go in the top half of the first round.
Yeah, a top notch RB would be nice, but I'm not taking one in the first round unless we are in the bottom 3 to pick, then I'd consider it.Round 1? Not for me...

NFL Draft Analyst Lists Superstar Running Back As Potential Houston Texans Pick
The Houston Texans got better this offseason. Their offense has a plethora of talent behind second-year star quarterback CJ Stroud. It's hard to feel anything bwww.si.com
Give a little bit of information about your guys such as position and size if possible. Many do not keep up with college. Thanks!I'm hoping Caserio gets the chance to add Mason Graham or Abdul Carter.
Yes, usually good backs can be found on day three but the topic of this thread is the draft and that's what we're doing ... talking about players. Of course, we do not know what is going to be needed but it's still interesting to gather information.Yeah, a top notch RB would be nice, but I'm not taking one in the first round unless we are in the bottom 3 to pick, then I'd consider it.
A lot depends on who all is left on the board and what the greatest needs are.
You have Gordon and Jeanty in this draft plus others will likely shine too.
Let's wait and see how our RB corp performs this season first.
Mason Graham Michigan, 6'3 318 DT.Give a little bit of information about your guys such as position and size if possible. Many do not keep up with college. Thanks!
I like both of those players.Mason Graham Michigan, 6'3 318 DT.
Abdul Carter Penn St. 6'3 235 LB.
Mason Graham would be a dream but he's probably top 5 and top 10 at worst.I'm hoping Caserio gets the chance to add Mason Graham or Abdul Carter.
Graham’s teammate Kenneth Grant could be an option later in round 1Mason Graham would be a dream but he's probably top 5 and top 10 at worst.
Hopefully we're not picking in any of those spots (trade aside).
Grant is on the Feldman's freaks list.Graham’s teammate Kenneth Grant could be an option later in round 1
Starks seems like a SWARM mentality guy
True, but NC has been willing to move around. I just don’t know if he’d do it for a safety.Unfortunately, guys like him don’t slide to the end of RD1.
I’ve heard rumblings about both players and am looking forward to see how they do at the senior bowl.I’m following a couple of DII OL that could make some noise in the Shrine or Senior Bowl(s) if invited.
RT- Grey Zabel (North Dakota State) 6-6 @ 305 lbs. / This guy could play anywhere on the line but has all the tools to be a solid RT. Check his write-ups.
RG- Marcus Wehr (Montana State) 6-3 @ 300 lbs. / Former DL who turned into a RG. 2023 Consensus 1st Team FCS All American, 2023 First Team All Big Sky, 2024 Bruce Feldman’s Freaks List, and 2023 PFF’s Highest Rated DI OT. Will be very interested to see how he performs against top talent in either the Shrine or Senior Bowl(s).
