Why was Tank Dell in the middle of the pile getting his leg broken today and what did anybody think his 165 pound body was going to accomplish in there?
That's part of the problem when you got big Dawgs in little bodies. but i wouldn't have it any other way.Looked to me like he made the decision for himself to rush into the meat grinder trying to make a block..
Demeco, you are the man and everybody in Houston and most of Texas are praising you. My question is what in the hell are you thinking about playing Damian Pierce?
Yet Singletary had two phenomenal games behind worse line as Juice better than Tytus? You could put McCaffrey behind this OL and he's go from superstar to jag in a few snaps. 49'ers and Texans are executing very similar offensive schemes, but the success of their running game can contributed to their strong OL b/c they impose their will on defenses. McCaffrey didn't have to find cutback lanes against the Eagles....the holes were created for the designed run play. OL execution is a marvelous thing for the run game. Hard for RB's to do anything when their OL is getting beat like a 15 year olds tube sock.
Why is there video of Dell in in the gym doing vertical leaps while holding heavy weights? Is this a common routine? Could Tank have had some form of latent stress fracture in his ankle Or lower leg?Why was Tank Dell in the middle of the pile getting his leg broken today and what did anybody think his 165 pound body was going to accomplish in there?
Tank made the block on the FS. The FS may have had a shot at Pierce at the goal line. Could anyone have been injured getting rolled up?Looked to me like he made the decision for himself to rush into the meat grinder trying to make a block..
Rather have had Hutchinson in the game on that play, in hindsight. He should be told never to block in that situation in my opinion.
I don't remember Cushing or Watt ever doing that. Why is there video of Dell in in the gym doing vertical leaps while holding heavy weights? Is this a common routine?
Watt liked to jump up on barrels which could have strained something if he missed, but Dell doing those jumps with those weights makes you think, hell what could go wrong?I don't remember Cushing or Watt ever doing that.
Nope, he would still be great because of his ability to run pass patterns like a WR. Plus his ability to find cutback lanes is something that Pierce doesn't have. Think of McCaffery like a souped up Singletary. He's the cheat code for the 49ers offense. Takes them from being good to being great. You could put McCaffrey behind this OL and he'd go from superstar to jag in a few snaps. 49'ers and Texans are executing very similar offensive schemes, but the success of their running game can contributed to their strong OL b/c they impose their will on defenses. No hindsight for me and they've been having Dell make that block all season.Tank made the block on the FS. The FS may have had a shot at Pierce at the goal line. Could anyone have been injured getting rolled up?
I don't know.

So I watched the game this morning. It seems that Jones (93) was intentionally trying to hurt Dell. He shifted his elbow on Dell’s ankle as Dell was falling. I would like for someone else to rewatch and tell me it’s my imagination.
BTW… how do I add video? I screen recorded it off my TV onto my phone.

Both speeds... I must’ve watched it at least 20 times now. I’m convinced it was intentional.Did you watch it at game speed or super slo motion? If it’s the latter, appearances are deceiving. He wouldn’t have had the time to intentionally hurt anyone?

Hey Demeco, why would you leave Cj in the game knowing we had no shot of winning in the 4th qtr. Now he’s injured. Good job coach of the year candidate
Because despite how good Strouds been, he's still a rookie and needs all of the snaps he can get.Hey Demeco, why would you leave Cj in the game knowing we had no shot of winning in the 4th qtr. Now he’s injured. Good job coach of the year candidate
I think that's why they're criticizing DeMeco. It was his decision. You see that in other sports where a player team/coach concedes but football players? Yeah those guys aren’t wired like that. You ride or die with your guys……ESPECIALLY if you’re the qb.
The game -wasn’t- out of hand. Lol.Y’all act like pulling a QB is novel. This happens all the freaking time when the game is out of hand. Someone in the game thread said pull him…and I was 100% in favor of that. Less then 5 minutes later he is concussed.
haven’t looked over there yet, the “ask Demeco” thread, but….
1)
“Uh, Hey Coach, what is your explanation for playin like hot garbage against dumpster fire teams?”
2)
And, “can you please explain to us the thought process behind this garbage defensive effort today?”
Thank you Coach, I will await your response
I think that decision was made by Tank Dell..Hey Demeco, why would you leave Cj in the game knowing we had no shot of winning in the 4th qtr. Now he’s injured. Good job coach of the year candidate
Wouldn’t that be a better question for Caserio instead of DeMeco?Hey Demeco, it seems fans have determined that the problem with our receiving corps {I always think corpse} and running game is solidly on the offensive line. My question is knowing that, are you going to replace the offensive line with starters who can both pass and run block this off season? Sure, I know about dead money but it seems like you can still make that move if you wanted to.
Your thoughts?

Yep it does seems like that at times. In the Panthers game when I saw Goodell in the suite, I didn’t want to think something was up. The Panthers only win has been against the Texans and Young had a good game on top of that.Question:
Why aren’t you calling an aggressive defense against bad quarterbacks? You did this same crap against the Falcons. What’s the reason for this? And do the League play apart in your decisions?
It seems like to me the league wants to keep this a tight race to the playoffs. Money on top of money
Because my linebackers are avg at best and the only LB that's above avg pulled his hamstring early in the game. So what did you expect me to do?Question:

Completely missing the point. With those same average linebackers, he still brought the heat on BETTER quarterbacks. You also have your secondary back there finally and you don’t do them any justice. And you do know The Jets offensive line is one of the worst in the league in pass pro. I’m not saying blitz him in that fashion but keep him on his toes. I’ve watched several of their games and he struggles with it and so does his offensive line. The Jets blitz on darn near every third down against us. We’re one of the top teams in 3rd conversions compared to the Jets.for as bad as Zach Wilson is…& he’s bad, no one has ever questioned his arm talent. And even for a bad qb like him, continuously blitzing him is sorta playing right into his hands b/c it allows him to be a check down Charlie…& with his arm talent, that is right up his alley..& that’s all you saw from him yesterday really. All told, he might’ve made 3-4 throws total down field . Most of the rest was his RBs and WR’s getting yac from the flats or short middle.
Plus as Steelb said, our LB’s are terrible in coverage. Last thing you want is for a blitz to not get home and he launches 1 deep to Breece Hall or Conklin with TooToo or Harris 2-3 yards behind.
Cashman being out really hurts them.I’m not saying blitz him in that fashion but keep him on his toes. I’ve watched several of their games and he struggles with it and so does his offensive line.
