Week 11: Arizona @ Houston

Want to make a bet that the Ravens don't make the AFCCG?
Despite the fact that we associate the best teams as being in the CG's and the Super Bowls it could be argued that the best teams many times lose before getting to those points in the season. Still, in my opinion the best teams in the NFC and AFC are the SF 49ers and the Baltimore Ravens. If both those teams play up to thier full potential I could see them once again meet in the Super Bowl. I can't say who should win between those two teams but it would make for a really good game!

The best team gets the jewelry.

This is where I'm at. When I compare him to the others I'd far rather have Mills than like 80-90 percent of the other guys.

People can hate Mills all they want but there still should be some amount of room for objectivity to just how bad some of the other options are. You can think Mills stinks, but I promise you there's much much much worse out there.

Not only that but with how CJ is playing we're very likely out of the running for any of the tip top "backups" who are really pseudo starter journeymen who bounce around looking for starting gigs that they obviously will have zero shot at here.
Okay one more and I'm done: if you are saying we cannot get a better backup than Mills [I prefer Case] today and that Davis is better than some other backup QBs, I get that but that's not how I evaluate quality in a player.
For this season game 10 we cannot do anything. In off season, I get at least one UDFA QB to train behind CJ as Mills has reached his ceiling. We need a guy who can at minimum keep us in game if Stroud goes out.

Case is better than Mills. Would much prefer him as backup

I have confidence that Case could run the same offence that CJ is running if he was called on. Mills it would have to be dumbed down for.
Texans should be looking to add late round/UDFA developmental QBs every year until they strike gold. Backup QBs who play well in limited showings can be very valuable for trade and who knows when you may need them to play.

We haven't seen either run the offense, but I tend to agree with you since Case has had much more production in the NFL. Having said that, I think Mills has the better skill set. This offense caters to him better.

Yes, I get that Jacksonville is an important game next week, but for the Texans and the position they're in, they're all important
It's not whether we think it shouldn't be a trap game. It's whether the Texans are looking ahead to the game vs the Jags.
Injuries happen. Joe Burrow is now out for the season.
That smells like a jinx.
I can't believe that after coaching Brady, that BoB never corrected Deshaun's **** footwork that made him have to be a creator.
O'Brien knew jack about QBs. That should be obvious by now.

No letdown baby.

Just saw Noah Brown is out. Stinks. That guy was so big last week. Really gained my respect.

Hope we can have a run game again this week. Keep CJ clean and healthy. Hope defense can wake up and gel more. Get offense off the field on third down.

Still so many injuries overall. Frustrating. And Perryman being out is a ******* joke.

Let's go. Keep building.

They are still going to work him out pregame. So he isn't yet, but Schefty is saying unlikely still.

Today's game shows if this squad can maintain momentum and handle success. I want to see execution and decisions from coaches and players that show we are truly locked in.

Keenum had had plenty of experience in the WCO.

Most of his stops were with teams that run the WCO, either from the Shanahan/Kubiak tree or Andy Reid.

Texans, Rams, Vikings, Broncos, Browns, the team formerly known as Redskins.

So Nico is starting? As great as Noah Brown has been the past few weeks, I think Nico is the better WR.
