Texans vs Ravens Week 1 Game Thread

Thank you, we’ll take that.
CJ’s deep pass on today so far is inaccurate
Think he’d rather hit the sideline than a defender on those 2, got a bit lucky with the roughing call, but don’t forget he’s made a couple of nice throws here too.

Seemed clear that this drive was about not giving the Ravens opportunity to go into the break 2 scores up first and foremost, and if we can score ourselves then great. See what happens.

Well 6-7 at the half, OL settled down after a very shaky opening quarter, CJ Stroud throwing his first NFL pass to himself will make a nice pub quiz question down the line, and the O got rolling downfield once they established themselves.

D looked good throughout, the only scoring drive came from bad starting field position. Looks like we can create turnover opportunities against even good O’s.

Halftime adjustments are always key.

I'll take a 1 point deficit at halftime, with a QB just getting his feet wet for the first time in an NFL game, and is showing improvement everytime he gets on the field!
C'mon Tunsil, stop with the penalties!

They called a false start on Tunsil, for what?
amd they let that RT on Thursday night lineup on the backfield and move like he was doing the ChaCha, and never called a penalty on him??
wtf???
Yeah we need software that on every penalty against our team, searches every other NFL play. If another player gets away with a similar call our player get a 'precedence' call.

I did this in elementary when I told Mama you let my brother get away with it.

I still don't understand why that didn't work.

I’m happy. CJ getting in stride. D looking solid. Hopefully Will Anderson gets goings sack wise. This is a solid first game for a brand new team. We’ve got something to build on. just wanna see some injured players return.
