It's not a surprise that the defense would rule the day. The offense is going to take time. Now begins the serious work by Slowik and staff of developing an offense. It's going to take time and likely the entire season. This is a growing and development year. It should be fun but it's not always going to be pretty.
I think this year's key to a 9-win season is the defense will have to carry the water, so to speak, and I think they can. The offense has to take care of the ball and not LOSE the game with bad turnovers.
