Divisional Round Games

KC’s in trouble regardless of whether they win this game.

Cincy has their number and a legit defense & an offense that can score with them.

Buffalo has all that…plus the Damar Hamlin momentum behind them.

Mahomes’ injury just compounds their problems.

Mahomes just elevated on the list tonight.. especially if somehow he can continue to play the rest of the way.. After tonight.. Chiefs should just fully guarantee his contract.. Thanks Browns..

Jax imploding..as predicted, experience is winning out even when the field is seemingly leveled with Mahomes’ injury.

I'm not sold on Lawrence.. I think he kinda sucks. Jacksonville actually has some damn good talent.
You see the arm talent, but he goes through these periods where he throws the hardest, flattest, most inaccurate passes. Although he is not the generational talent the draft folks were claiming. When he becomes more consistent with his mechanics, he will take another step in his development. I don't think he's hit his ceiling.

He has a strong arm.. nothing special and his release is too elongated.

I haven't been impressed with his play calling tonight

Not sure thats really on him. Philly is just that good and Jones isn’t exactly a Mahomes level talent. Hell they were running graphics on him saying this year was a career year for him. 3200 yards passing and 15 TD’s…in 17 games… those are davis mills numbers…and Mills didn’t even start 3 games this year. 😳

I was looking more at plays called and routes run

Lawrence is consistently inconsistent at this level. Until he figures that out he'll never be a top tier QB.

Only in his 2nd year and already in the playoffs. And that's with a 1st year with a player kicking, college girl ass grabbing piece of **** HC. Not looking forward to the Texans playing him twice a year for the next decade or so.

Wow. Kelce has already been targeted eight times. Only on this forum, have I ever read or heard that you can target your best receiving option too much. SMDH.
You fail to mention Derrick had his best season after Hopkins was traded.

Coincidence?

It appears Gannon decided to take away Jones the runner to see if Jones the passer could beat the Eagles……looks like that approach paid off.

No coincidence. I didn't mention Derrick because your premise is that a QB becomes better by reducing the target of his highly paid WR1 and spreading the ball around to lesser WRs is the point not who the QB is. Teams are going out and helping their QBs by trading for Davante Adams, Stefon Diggs, AJ Brown, Amare Cooper and even Hopkins for that QB to target them 150 times a season.

If you go up to any Bills fan and tell them that Josh Allen would be better without Stefon Diggs or Mahomes would be better without Kelce or they need to reduce passes thrown to Kelce or Diggs and they would laugh at you. Why do you think teams are giving up huge contracts and draft picks to acquire these WR1s? So QBs can get better by spreading the ball to WRs like Keke Coutee and Chad Hansen?

This narrative about a highly paid WR1 being targeted too much is nothing but a silly TT narrative to either justify a horrible trade or wanting your QB to fail so you can say that he cannot play without his blanket. Be honest. This is one of the weakest, agenda driven narratives on this forum.

DW4 needed though because he wouldn't take the best option if he could force it to Hopkins. Much like Mills did with Cook this past year

There have been stats showing the Hopkins was not targeted more than any other WR1 on other teams. Did he force the ball to Hopkins? Yes. Sometimes. Just like every other QB with a great WR1. In fact, with DW4, Hopkins targets were decreasing and what's funny I don't recall any complaints when Hopkins was being targeted 192 times in 2015 by Hoyer, Weeden and Mallet. That's why I believe it was an agenda driven narrative to justify a bad trade.
