Appears we got a #6 in 2023.
Is that you Nick?6th and 7th rounders are basically UDFAs.
Is that you Nick?
Do you plan on using SF’s 2023 6th round pick now, or two years from now?So you want us to wait 2 years for a 6th that we can have now lol? No...if he hasn’t shown anything by now he wasn’t gonna show it….dude was just as likely to be cut next year as he was to be finish out his deal here.
Isn't he on a rookie deal? Why trade him at all. I know you don't see it, but this is exactly how every ex Hoodie type tries to run the program. Sadly it never works. If a guy has average practice habits, but performs on Sunday, its your job to get the best out of him. These young guys aren't going to be perfect, yet this old roster is one of the most penalized in the NFL.Lol, what did you think you were gonna get for this "decent" 5th round pick? a 4th? another 5th? Omenihu will probably be out of the league or on someone's bench after this year. He wasn't showing anything....has been a veritable non factor pretty much his entire career here.
I broke this down in another post but long story short I agree with you except that by the time we have a QB to protect, even if we draft one in 22, you will get at best 1 year of Tunsil protecting them before you have to pay him again and he’s already the highest paid LT in the NFL.
If he's still playing at a pro bowl level then pay him again.

Uhmm.Let's make sure we internet with context:
The Broncos and Manning were 38-10 the three years before Kubiak/Wade got there, went to the Super Bowl in 2013 and the year before Kubiak/Wade got there had the #3 defense. John Knox build a great team before they fired him for not getting back to the Super Bowl in 2014. I love Kubiak and happy that he got a ring, but this was a Gruden 2.0 season for him.
Of course it's not Nick because he knows very well that sometimes a team can reel-in a GOAT with a 6th or 7th round pick.Is that you Nick?
Caserio was still in Div 2 in 2000.Of course it's not Nick because he knows very well that sometimes a team can reel-in a GOAT with a 6th or 7th round pick.
Those penalties are not from talent, its from a lack of coaching and discipline. Football comes from football intelligence which equals positioning . You can have players who are coached up that are not as talented who don't grab and hold. Why do you think most patriot players play well in New England and suck everywhere else? CO has real talent, he flashes, but its up to coaches to make it consistent. Not only that, he's on a rookie deal which means you continue to chart his progress and at the end of the year, put a qualifying offer on him. Do you remember Shaq Barrett in Denver? Thats why you don't give away young d-line players with real talent on rookie deals for a 6th rd pick 2 yrs from now. He’s 3 years in & being young and on a cheap rookie deal is no longer a reason to keep him around. Also penalties are mostly from lack of talent…& not just from old guys who can’t play anymore…but from young guys who can’t play at all too. Guys who can’t stay in front of or get by their more talented counterparts usually wind up holding or grabbing which triggers a penalty. I’ll venture to say that the bulk of our penalties are on these young guys who straight up stink. He’s had about the best coaching and tutelage you can get between Romeo, Weaver and JJ. He’s just not that good. Melvin Ingram is better than him right now and the Steelers were only able to get a 6th for him as well. Is Kevin Colbert an idiot b/c that’s all he could get? So why keep Omenihu if he’s not good and teams are offering up something for him?
Granted they play different positions, but Greenard has been flashing his ass off as he has gained more playing time. THAT’S a young guy on a rookie deal you keep around. Omenihu is still doing the same **** he was doing his rookie year…
For the Texans supposedly having a “fire sale” I expected a bit more than just Omenihu and Ingram being traded.
We got a 7th in 2026.
No we didn't.

I was close…Almost the same thing.
Nowhere close to being close. You projected a pick 5 years into the future, 2026. This is not allowed. Teams can't trade picks more than 3 years into the future.I was close…Almost the same thing.

Crossed my mind. But hyperbole is exaggeration. This was not; this was a total disregard for the rules of the game.Pretty sure that was hyperbole.

I think he was being facetious. Relax.Nowhere close to being close. You projected a pick 5 years into the future, 2026. This is not allowed. Teams can't trade picks more than 3 years into the future.
Where does it say I said he was involved in the decision to draft the GOAT, but I'm absolutely sure he's fully aware of the fact that his employer used a mere 6th or 7th round pick on the GOAT.Caserio was still in Div 2 in 2000.

Well, everybody knows about Brady.Where does it say I said he was involved in the decision to draft the GOAT, but I'm absolutely sure he's fully aware of the fact that his employer used a mere 6th or 7th round pick on the GOAT.
