would t have mattered..it was coming back due to a hold. Aside from that, dropping back z& tossing it every play has the potential to elongate the game every incomplete pass…which isn’t what you want in a game like this.

sometimes this is the case, but at others, the Bills are blitzing in obvious passing situations.

The score doesn't matter. Getting Mills reps is the most important thing. Stop running on every first down. Either he starts moving the chains and makes progress with improvement or he doesn't. Winning isn't even on the table at this point

Defense need to get some turnovers. Or ST needs a big return. Get the ball inside their 10 maybe we can get a FG.

You can’t just call plays that Mills may or may not know and think or expect production dude. HES A ROOKIE making only his 2nd start in the NFL and 13th in like 3 years. Furthermore You’re absolutely delusional if you thought any rookie qb was gonna come in on the road against a top 5 defense and do something. Hell DW4 didn’t play all that much better when he made his debut in 2017…& he had way more in his favor.

Did I say he should be an all-pro? Did I say we should win? Seems like you are doing a lot of ASSuming.

Mills will not get better if they treat him like a baby. Let him throw and grow and learn. This is the same complaints we had with Watson. Watson played better when they took the training wheels off. They need to do the same for Mills.

But as of now, he has not shown any improvement or hope for the future. He is slow-footed, indecisive, not accurate, and locking onto receivers. He is Sage Rosenfels.

So the game is 100% Mills fault for sucking today. Regardless of him being a rookie, we suck because he sucks. Just wanted to prove my point. Thanks
 
lol Davis Mills has 10 throwing attempts. 10! And yet some of you are defending the decision to "protect" the rookie and not let him throw. This place is losing its mind.

We need someone to play QB next week. Tyrod will stil be out. Anything we can do to keep Driskel off the field should be a priority & obviously that other guy ain’t playing, so…

Defense has been outplaying its talent level thanks to Lovie. The system has its weaknesses but it forces teams to slowly drive the field and makes offenses take time to put points on the board.

They will look really good if/when the running game gets going on offense.

I'm sorry, I thought this was football. Getting hit is part of the gig. So we should just forfeit then right? Don't want to risk our guys getting hurt, we need them next week.

guys don’t understand that our best chance to keep the kid healthy AND have a decent shot to at least attempt to win the game is to limit his chances for mistakes and protect him with playcalling.

Yeah, between Brown and Akin, we have some pretty athletic pass catching TE's that are consistently ignored. Although, Tyrod was a little better with using them.

It’s looking like Anthony Miller or RB screen is option #2.

I think Nico Collins makes it back in 2 more weeks at least. Maybe Amendola as well. Maybe even Tyrod…

Brown separated his shoulder first game. I think he’s playing hurt in addition to team not utilizing him like they did with Tyrod in game 1.
