Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

more garbage. Tell this to the millions of guys who get jerked by the courts with outrageous child support demands & divorce settlements.
I specifically said criminal justice system. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You likely haven’t worked in the criminal justice setting. You haven’t sat in probable cause hearings, listening to the ADA reading allegations of sexual assault detail by detail, seeing guys beat their wives to pulps and get released on Personal Bonds, only to get out and violate the restraining order. Victims calling and asking why is the guy who beat them up out on bond and fearing for their lives. I’ve heard this prior in my career, I’ve worked this. Do not talk to me about any system jerking men around.

Wow. You pulled the "Watson only fan" card on him. I find that interesting. Besides this thread, have you ever made a football or Texans related post? I could be mistaken, but I don't recall reading a football related post from you. If I'm correct, are you a Watson only fan?
Well for one, the QB sure gave us plenty of other reasons to talk about other things besides football. So you want someone to blame? Go talk to him. Last I checked this is a Watson sexual assault thread.

In the SI article, it was mentioned that one of the Watson's business managers claimed he was contacted by a plaintiff requesting $30K for indefinite silence. It's rarely mentioned in this thread and I don't recall reading if this is true or BS from Watson's team. Any updates on that statement?

"In a sworn declaration, Watson’s marketing manager, Bryan Burney, said one of the plaintiffs who is alleging forced oral sex asked for a $30,000 settlement in mid-January, in exchange for her “indefinite silence.” Burney said she told him their contact was consensual, and that he then received a call from a man who said he was her business manager; according to Burney, that man characterized their demand as “blackmail.”

I guess it's a matter of opinion and perspective. I think this is mentioned quite a lot, that the first plaintiff was asking for money, that DW could have just paid that first girl off and none of this would have happened. I think it's also behind a lot of the "they're all only in it for the money" and the "it could all go away if he'd pay them" POVs.

This is also a Texans football forum and has been that way before Watson joined the team. Again, I can be mistaken, but before this sexual assault thread was created, I don't recall reading your posts. Maybe you didn't have any noteworthy posts or you are less active than other posters when it comes to football.

I'm not looking for someone to blame. Just an observation on your "Watson only fan" critique of @Mr teX. If I'm correct, it appears that moniker can be thrown at you too.

Wait. I thought Solis was the first plaintiff and when Watson's team didn't take Buzbee's $100K offer serious, Buzbee went public? On that note, I got pulled into this thread again and will exit stage left.

You could be totally right. I am not following this that closely. I don't know who all the plaintiffs were or which ones offered how much when. So I could be completely wrong and may have merged two of the plaintiffs into one.

Instead of me speculating. Here is the summary from Buzbee's recorded interview with Dash.

Amy Dash: “Tony Buzbee said to me ‘listen, had Watson’s people spoken respectfully to me and my client...’ -- the one client he had initially, Ashley Solis, who ended up coming forward publicly and doing a press conference when he has reached out to Watson’s people to talk about settlements -- had they entertained that and spoke to him and his client and been respectful, he says he wasn’t trying to extort money, they were just trying to confidentially handle the matter. He doesn’t believe any of these other women would have come forward because he said they all came forward to him after watching his first client [Ashley Solis] go public. For people who say this is some sort of conspiracy, I don’t believe it is. I do find that persuasive that one person comes forward and then more people start to come forward.”

Interesting.

Deshaun requests a trade in late January.

In February, e-mails went back and forth about Solis' request to settle their dispute quietly.

And then, March 19, the charges are filed.

I'm not in Houston, so I don't see this stuff every day (unless I read it here). I'm not really keeping it all straight about who did what when.

What did he say?

He's back at his cryptic tweets. Doc posted the article earlier today

The first was a screen shot of a 2018 tweet from Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane: "I had to stop feeding people who always wanted to take they plate to go!"

Another was a bible scripture from Galations 6:9: "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."

Another is a quote that shows up in so many people's social media timelines when they're trying to be deep: "Forgive me if I don’t talk much at times. It’s loud enough in my head."

The last Snap is a picture of a pair of sunglasses with a caption over the photo reading: "Had to change the perspective on how I see life."

Love those who take philosophy from social media. it exposes them like a unibrow.

Read Corrosion and CnD's posts in this thread and that will get you up to date.

Two things:

First there is strength in numbers. Women do things in groups. Example - going to the bathroom together.

Second: How many men actually understand women? None that I know if. So how are we to understand what a woman does when they are sexually assaulted. If a man was ass raped or was forced to give a BJ to/by another man - would they want their face plastered on the news? Especially if was a famous football player like Watson?

I can see it now:

Rich Eisen with NFL network here. Coming up at 5 - are we to believe the accusations by Lucky that he was ass raped by Deshaun Watson? Find out the details after a short word from our sponsor Viagra.

Who wants to be part of that?
I dunno is it possible that that was Steel himself flexing his falsetto voice ?
I have no comment on this but did we not at one time have a long time poster who signed in on his wife's account to post for a while? Does anyone remember who that was or am I misremembering?

Yeah IIRC djohn2oo8 , Corrosion and doc have each said it is not unusual in cases like this for a female victim to try to settle early.

Lol, says the troll for Buzzard. I'm verified as a guy whose been here long before Watson. I'm a Texans fan & comment on all sorts of threads on this site. So you can miss me with the broad brush you're trying to paint anyone who isn't ready to convict the dude. You on the other hand have been made from day 1 as Buzzard plant who had the dude convicted before anything was even known. This is also the only thread i've seen you comment in. Why don't you do us all a favor & just out yourself & stop trying to act like you give a rats ass about innoncent until proven guilty, reasonable doubt or any other tenet our legal system is based upon.

Did you give Greg Hardy, Tyreke Hill or for that matter Rae Carruth the benefit of the doubt before they were charged and there was a trial?

Wait. I thought Solis was the first plaintiff and when Watson's team didn't take Buzbee's $100K offer serious, Buzbee went public? On that note, I got pulled into this thread again and will exit stage left.

Good news

I find it funny that the biggest fans of his are the same ones still defending him. (I didn't use POS to describe him because I know how bad that upsets you) I cant wait for this to go to trial. I'm sure if there was a pick of him with a finger in his butt and him forcefully ramming a womans head down on his pecker these fans would find a way to try to explain away his actions.

One day when I was wrongly banned.

I haven't even looked at my wifes account in yrs.

Edit, my wifes account isn't active anymore.

" in fact, the posts probably mean absolutely nothing." Then why post this? Just stirring up 💩?

He knows something big is about to happen? Hasn't someone been saying this for months?

That post means a freaking lot. Just like the rest of his cryptic messages. Thus the darn reason he doesn’t want to be here. Isn’t that what his cryptic messages meant when he posted months ago.

This is a thread that hmmm I created correct? This is a country in which we’re able to speak our minds correct? The comment was within the right to this great forum correct?

He knows something big is about to happen. That statement can go several ways. It was cryptic, so why are you getting bent out of shape about my comment?

And you stir the pot around these parts all of the times. Especially with all of your trade proposals. Yet you’re taking a dump on my comment.

Man this world is ultra sensitive these days.

OK, that's what I thought I'd heard, but wasn't sure. So Solis in February was NOT the first to approach him. I think that's what Earl34 was asking.

never seen this dude post on this forum until this.

You sound like athletes telling fans and the media “you don’t understand/know b/c you never played”.…..I.e. dumb.

fact is I don’t have to have worked in the system to have an opinion. If anything, the system is what it is b/c dip&$#% lawyers like you who exploit true gender/racial inequities within it when it’s convenient instead of just trying the cases on the merits of its evidence. So don’t preach about how the system is rigged when you help rig it up …..depending on the client you have at any given moment.

Did you give Greg Hardy, Tyreke Hill or for that matter Rae Carruth the benefit of the doubt before they were charged and there was a trial?

In ALL of those cases there was actual, real & direct evidence either from their own mouths & past actions (Hill), 1st hand witnesses (caught the hitman who confessed) and or photos of the damage (hardy). I didn’t pay much attention to the Rae Carruth situation. But the Hill/Hardy/Rice & Hunt situations, the audio & videos were all over the internet for people to see/hear for themselves. Plus they went criminal 1st.

All Buzzard has done thus far is put out a casting call & released salacious indictment briefs and a few texts that can be construed to give an impression about something….All mostly intended to embarrass DW4 into Settling. If/when that changes and he actually provides some damning evidence, my stance will change. I just operate under the assumption that the truth likely lies somewhere in between what the victims are saying and what DW4 is saying happened….which obviously is still not a good look for DW4.

Where’s the beef?…& don’t give me this garbage about him holding back b/c it’s already been reported that DW4 is/was willing to settle just with certain terms and Buzzard refused…who knows if that’s true or not, but if this is the case, why hasn’t Buzzard settled?

Out of curiosity. Exactly who is defending Watson? Who is the imaginary WoF?

For the record, I find your use of POS/pervert as unimaginative, repetitive, expected but not upsetting. Before these allegations, you got criticized for calling Watson dumb. So, it's your opportunity to call him every name in the book without any pushback or criticism. You did the same thing by constantly calling Rick Smith, Ricky. It's just another example of why I continue to call you a troll. :shades:

Again. You have nothing to say because you don’t know anything about the criminal justice system other than what you see on tv. It’s not designed for those who are victims of assault and sexual assault. It’s mainly not designed to protect women. It’s not. Other than what you see on tv, you have no clue how many folks who are in jail, actually deserve to be there.

Totally agree.

Not that it matters but I actually started this thread but a mod moved your post to the top and listed you as starting the thread, rightfully so since you provided a link. This is why the 1st few posts in the thread say things like, look who started this thread and why the thread appears to be disjointed. Because when this thread started you were one of the biggest fans of the guy, so others posts at that time makes no sense.

I'm just glad that unlike some you didn't let your fandom overtake your morals of what's right and wrong, just because you want to get more in trade for this POS. I've gained more respect for you in this thread than you can ever imagine and my apology to you was truly heartfelt. I was wrong.

The FBI and HPD think that where there's smoke there's fire. Otherwise the FBI wouldn't be investigating and this wouldn't be going before a grand jury in Harris County.

I'm really looking forward to this going to trial. It should be very entertaining.

I also called Kubiak, Kubes should I not have done that?

I'm not real big on people who are phonies or use their position of power to take advantage of others.

Fact is that I called him dumb in the middle of a gameday thread when he made a dumb play and admitted that was wrong but that wasn't good enough for posters like yourself. As it turns out his dumb play on the field extended to his personal life. I was spot on when it came to this POS and I'm not calling him by his name because he needs to be called by what he truly is rather than his name. If that hurts your feeling then so be it.

22 lawsuits have been filed against Deshaun Watson.....of this group only 10 filed criminal charges. If Watson wiggled around enough to force his penis to touch their hand and all 22 women felt they were in no position to move their hand before his penis touched them....then why didn't all 22 file criminal charges?

All mentioned in their statements (CnD post) that Watson made multiple moves to get his penis to touch their hand. So, within those multiple moves and his penis slowly but surely moving towards their hand....how is it that he was able to successfully make the final maneuver in hitting their hand with his penis unless they were giving him a massage with their eyes closed? Now, if a sudden thrust was made to get his penis to touch their hand that would mean they had no time to move.....but he had to make multiple moves to ensure this happened which would suggest that the women had ample time to move location from the area being massaged or simply move their hand or simply step back.

Did 4 of those charges include the forced oral pleasure or rape that Watson executed on the 4 women? If this in fact the case, this would show some consistency in his actions so why did this happen with only 4 of the women versus all 22?

The one woman who came forward and filed criminal charges against Watson without Buzzbee's help.....did she do this before or after this situation went public? I believe it was after (I could be wrong) but why didn't she want Buzzbee to represent her since he was evidently fighting the good fight at no up front expense from the women he was representing? Just thinking out loud, maybe his percentage of any settlement was too much for her liking. I'm almost certain that Buzzbee is taking all of their cases with a fairly hefty percentage of whatever settlement is reached.

Again, this is not intended to mean I'm justifying anything that happened or that Watson is innocent or that the women are innocent.....it's being open minded enough to have a desire to question both sides. The only reason I haven't presented anything from the women(s) side...because it's been readily available through the media and on this forum with little to nothing from the Watson side of the aisle.

I expected this response from you Earl.

It's this way when you bet on the wrong horse. If I was in your shoes I would rather laugh than admit I was wrong.

First, all of the complaints aren’t all from Buzbee’s group. Second, Cloak said there’s a possible 11th and 12th complaint being filed? Doesn’t matter if the rest didn’t file. It only takes 1

Your asking posters to get in the mind of a guy that needed over 150 massages from multiple different women. I'm glad to say I'm unable to figure out his logic.

Being a whore and being a sexual predator are two different things, and at this point, we don't know with 100% certainty which one Watson is.

All we have so far is information that the alleged victims have wanted you to see. Watson's team has yet to provide any evidence to disprove the allegations. Does he have any? We won't know until it goes to court if it even does. His team seems determined to allow the truth to come out, so let's see what the truth actually is.

Agreed, but it doesn't necessarily mean there's anything that can be proven or that there's anything really there. This isn't like the Vick situation where the FBI has effectively taken over the investigation with a 98% conviction rate & they have all types of physical evidence. Maybe it can be the case in the future, but right now, noone really knows anything about the extent of their investigation........despite both lawyers' attempts at trying to paint it a certain way.

Its just funny reading through this thread and listening on the radio how people jump at everything both of these guys say. Buzzard goes on Amy Dash's podcast recently & puts it out there like he knows for sure they're looking at it on DW4's end & this is something new.... Hardin has to call a short PC to clarify...":gun:Bro, we spoke to the FBI 4 months ago about something else related to my client getting extorted & we haven't heard anything else...this is nothing new from our end..".

As with all this mess, the truth is likely somewhere in between.

I think we can all agree, he's got some kinks with butthole play. but that doesn't make the guy a sexual predator. But in terms of embarassment, & never being looked at the same again, no matter what happens from here forward, Buzzard has successfully killed the squeaky clean image he once enjoyed. & much like Kobe, Ben Rothlisberger and guys like Marv Albert, he'll have to deal with the fallout from this for the rest of his life whether he's found innocent, guilty or he settles it out of court.

You're right, we don't know, even though common sense should give us a clue.

You can bet if the FBI brings sex trafficking charges against this POS then he's in for a world of trouble. The FBI doesn't bring charges unless they have the goods.

Listen to the entire 6 minute podcast interview with highly respected Fox Sports legal analyst / sports and entertainment attorney Dan Lust. Particularly interesting is his predicted timeline for the criminal and civil proceedings to play out. Also he affirms what I have posted long time ago...........contrary to media heads, that the lawsuits will not be enjoined..........each and every one will be litigated separately.

Why There's a High Chance that Deshaun Watson Will Face Criminal Charges

I believe rumor has it that it was 12 months.

So let’s say 150 different ladies were giving him a massage. 30 have filed lawsuits or charges. That’s 20%.

Maybe that 20% were legit massage workers and not Instagram girls posing as massage workers.

Who gets 3 massages a week for an entire year? Isn’t there an off-season?

The guy probably spent close to 30k ($200*150) in that 12 month period for those services. And he couldn’t pay 40k to settle?

Special kind of stupid.

Why There's a High Chance that Deshaun Watson Will Face Criminal Charges

Good link and short summary:

Dan Lust: “This has been a pretty big week on the Deshaun Watson front. There are subpoenas that have gone out and I don’t have any reason to believe that the reports are false. The attorneys have confirmed that the grand jury subpoenas have gone out. There’s an expression that lawyers have that ‘even a grand jury can indict a ham sandwich.’ It’s important here. There’s no kind of evidentiary proceeding, the prosecutor can bring in whatever evidence they want. There’s no opportunity for cross-examination so they paint a very one-sided picture of the case and everything comes in. So every bad fact about Deshaun Watson is going to come in, it’s not going to be a ‘he said/she said’, it’s going to be a ‘she-said’ type deal. If a grand jury thinks there is sufficient evidence to have some sort of criminal proceeding here it’s going to go forward. I spoke to a DA recently and it’s a ‘ham sandwich’ type deal, it’s not 100% but maybe it’s closer to like 85-90%... If you’re a betting man, -450, -500 that Watson is going to get hit with criminal charges sooner rather than later.” (Full Segment Above)
