If the Falcons can print “ATL” on their Jerseys do you think the Texans will ever print H-Town on theirs?

You mean HOU?If the Falcons can print “ATL” on their Jerseys do you think the Texans will ever print H-Town on theirs?
Not really. The ATL has become slang. I’m pretty sure that’s why it was put on there. To identify with contemporary fans. You mean HOU?
HOU needs to go back to the powder blue too.Not really. The ATL has become slang. I’m pretty sure that’s why it was put on there. To identify with contemporary fans.
The equivalent would be H-Town, or The H.
I’d be apt to break my boycott for a Jersey with H-Town printed on the front

I'd rather they bought the rights to the old USFL Gamblers and that became the name, logo and colors.HOU needs to go back to the powder blue too.

Not going to happen but it would be cool.
I admit I was a big fan of just about everything USFL.
You're right.Gambling can be addictive and is a vice for some. The current pantywaist culture would be offended with that name.
If not that than I could see us continue to use a Bull logo but instead of the one we have we could drop the Texans name and replace the current Bulls logo with the old Jacksonville Bulls logo and their colors. We could call ourselves the Bulls or the Toros. I always thought they were one of the coolest looking teams in both the NFL and the USFL as well as the the CFL and college teams.Gambling can be addictive and is a vice for some. The current pantywaist culture would be offended with that name.

The Oilers image and colors were pretty cool.I'd rather they bought the rights to the old Oilers and that became the name , logo and colors.

Ok, I love the Oilers...but the powder blue color belongs in a New Jersey grandma’s hair. The Oilers image and colors were pretty cool.
I liked the colors myself.Ok, I love the Oilers...but the powder blue color belongs in a New Jersey grandma’s hair.
HOU needs to go back to the powder blue too.
Texans best change IMHO......Gunmetal Gray Metallic with the Steel Blue and Battle Red. Helmets would be pretty slick in GGM with the Toro logo and pants in GG with the SB and BR stripes.
Let the Oilers and the colors rest in peace.
The Tennesee Titans are not going to let it rest in peace.
Especially when there's money to be made.
Why, you can even buy this on the Titans website: We Were the Oilers: The Luv Ya Blue! Era on DVD (I'm seriously thinking about getting this one. . .)
Or maybe you want an Oilers shirt from the Titans website (they offer several different ones, btw)?
Unfortunately, its our memories, but ultimately Tennessee's history. Even "our" great Earl Campbell is now embraced by, and is rooting for, the Titans.
The Texans don't care about anything before 2002.

I purchased a Earl Campbell Jersey for my Father on Father’s Day and a Warren Moons Jersey for myself.
I’d buy that. The Tennesee Titans are not going to let it rest in peace.

That's why I say let it rest in peace. The Titans can do whatever the hell they want with it, and until you posted that, I had no idea it was available. Of course, I'm not seeking it out either. AFAIC that's been dead and buried a long time ago. Fun when it was here, lot of great memories, but like grandma, it's gone. Loved, missed, and will never be the same without, but gone.
I do think the Texans made a big mistake not reaching out to the lost Oilers, Earl, Pastorini, Brazile, etc. and keeping that connection with them and the fans, but they bought into the that's another organization stuff instead of making it about Houston and it's history. Just another blunder in an entire existence of blunders when it comes to the Texans.
And the only reason that stuff is on the Titans website is because they know sentimental Houstonians will still throw plenty of $$$ at it. Ain't nobody in Tennessee buying that stuff. They packed the trucks and abanboned this town, and left us with just our memories. And now as more time passes and those memories start to fade, they're going to sell you all of that old **** to help you remember? **** them!
