He's doing a great job of trying to get his clients paid. He's not going to pull any punches and will go to all lenghts to win these cases. Exactly the type of lawyer I would want representing me. I cant believe you prefer a known sexual deviant more than a guy that's doing a great job while he's going against one of the top attorney's in this country. (Harden)

Yes, I wanted DW4 out because I didn't think the Texans could win a championship with him. But I wanted him to be traded at the time so they could get a QB on his rookie contract and have even more picks to rebuild the team. After reading some of the filings I just want to move on from the trash that is DW4. BTW, I got a letter from the McNair's that essentially said they were going to let things play out in the legal system but DW4 was basically done in Houston. Good riddance. Nobody should be put through what these women were allegedly put through. I dont care if they were tramps or not.

Imagine a team that is in a rebuild mode that wouldn't be ready to compete for at least a year. Wouldn't not having to pay his salary for a year be an advantage? As his value gets lower and lower... at some point someone could decide it's worth the risk... at the right price. If his contract is cancelled, would that make him a free agent? If that happens someone's got to take a shot at him... right?

Only if it helps the cap is it an advantage. Otherwise it is OPM.

That's not how you run an NFL team. Too many unknowns for any forward-thinking team to get into this mess. The "at least a year" can very well be how long it is until Watson even finds out what his fate may be........especially if cases head to court..........especially criminal cases.

Everytime I listen to HOU sports radio no one knows anything, John McClain talks for 10 minutes and says nothing and knows nothing but is absolutely 110% sure he knows everything about the nothing he's sure he knows and it’s all endless speculation.
The other weird aspect of radio is how they portray the entire debacle. They imply so much wrong and then speculate on their wrong assumptions which tells me it’s pre determined how they are approaching this for ulterior reasons.

If you want to go by the letter of the law then he may or not be a sexual deviant. However after reading some of these briefs, there's no doubt in my mind that DW4's a sexual deviant with an addiction. The oily Watson isn't a term I made up. LMAO At worst he's a sexual predator.

Not much different from posters on this forum. Except McClain get paid for his "speculation".

And as a member of the media, he does have some access that forum posters do not. What really counts is how much exclusive access he may have, beyond the more general public news briefs.
 
Well, we already had plenty of horrible stories.
Seems that Buzzbee is saying "See! These women are real and this is all real and not made up." He is digging in and turning up the heat on Watson and his team.
Interesting that 5 cases filed were "turned away".
Looks really bad for Watson - Texans may wipe their hands of him and just kick him to the kerb.
Will be interesting to see what Hardin has to say in reply.
 
It looks to me that Texans will have no option but to cut Watson now - the evidence is too damning.
So, where does that leave the Texans after that - do they recoup his contract? Does the league have a clause to that effect?
Will Texans receive any compensation for losing Watson because of the egregiousness of his crimes?

Tell me what they say 'cause I dunno ? Give me some specifics. Ok, 'cause I didn't give you a strict legal definition, that was Wikipedia.
And you need to lose the puritanical attitude because what might be a deviant form of behavior to you instead falls within normal behavior to others in this 21st century.
Oh BTW I think they will go by "the letter of the law" when it comes to determining DW4s fate.

I'm far from puritanical but I know trash when I see/smell it.

As the evidence mounts keep on sticking by your guy. I can't wait for the final outcome of these cases. Then we can have a further discussion, because right now you're in denial mode and this discussion is going nowhere.

I think what Buzzbee’s statement reveals is that he’s either trying to force the Texans to either force the Texans to get off the sidelines and either turn him loose or maybe get them to turn over any circumstantial evidence that “may” show DW4 in a less than favorable light even more. Trying to go scorched earth on his good guy image..

the most I can imagine they may have known is if he came to the Texans and told them he had like a sex addiction or something and they in turn tried to get him counseling & help & there’s a paper trail...but that still doesn’t reflect badly on the Texans.

the only way it would imo is if he EXPLICITLY told them some of the things he did and they didn’t do anything at all or tried to cover it up.

but Buzzbee potentially coming for the Texans blows up those theories some STILL maintain of the Texans being behind this whole lawsuit.

What if the Texans knew he harrassed/assaulted/exposed himself and didn’t do anything to help the women harmed? What if their only action was to help Watson and the team?

In the eye of the public and cancel culture, it would reflect badly on them.

The cry would be “Why didn’t you try to help the women harmed?”

Just saying that may happen.

yes, but unless he directly sexually assaulted that individual, anything else that may or may not have been said or told to them about DW4 by that individual could rightfully be taken as just hearsay by the Texans. Further, even if there is somehow a paper trail left, the FO has a right to explore whether or not the allegations are true or not. Also, take into account that if said individual didn’t want to discuss it with them and/or opted to undertake her/his own means of litigation, what can/were they supposed to do at that point? Release him off of a rumor?

Buzzbee needs direct evidence to prove the FO was in collusion, and I just don’t think he has it. IMO, This is more just a ploy by Buzzbee to further isolate DW4 from his “good guy” image that Hardin attempted to reinforce last week with his 18 masseuses thingy.

look at the situation now. His high powered lawyer with all types of resources at his disposal can’t even find out what may have happened. The Texans were likely in the same position.....I.e.going off of DW4’s word and his image. So If the Texans had any inkling of anything, Imagine how much less they may have been able to find out or knew given the fact that a lot of these women probably were unlikely to want to come forward.

it’s a true he said she said situation complicated by the means in which this all allegedly took place...in a private setting and over the internet.

Now that Watson is on his way from the Houston scene (sooner or later), my one big concern is that the Texans might lose out on their opportunity to maximize the number of Draft picks they could get for him in a trade.
Now if Watson is guilty of some kind of nonconsensual sexual activity with one or more of these masseuses then he should and likely will spend some time up in Huntsville, and maybe a long time.

Yep. And I'm wondering about all of the former employees that were not "cultural fits". They can be deposed if these Watson suits end up in court. All it takes is one of them admitting that they knew something about Watson and Instagram being used to find women. We lowly fans have been hearing that rumor ever since Nuk was traded.

Sorry but you seem to be confusing normal people giving the Mrs one up the wrong’un on their birthday with the act of rape which Watson is accused of committing.
 
Apparently Buzzbee is going after the Texans and keying on some info he has of an individual that he knows about that Reportedly is “close to the team” (statement made by the individual in question) responsible for coordinating DW4’s massages...which again is still hearsay if this particular individual didn’t report anything to the Texans brass.
