Innocence or Guilt doesn't matter in this case.

Again. Stretching.
I gotta be honest, the devil is in the details. I'm going to say some nitty gritty things next so if your overly sensitive stop reading my post now...
There is no crime against getting an erection.
The body does what it does sometimes against our wishes. Is it awkward? Yes. Criminal? No. The question then is did he solicit sexual acts or force himself upon anyone.
I expect Watson won't get a snap this year.
While it remains in the civil courts and assuming he's not found guilty of any crime then he'll get the same NFL punishment as Robert Kraft did, right?Innocence or Guilt doesn't matter in this case.

The demographic is certainly important for winning a primary. Will still get dog-walked in the general, but he gets publicity until then.
It is another plank in what is driving the conspiracy narrative right now.
Like I said before, I don't think anyone is coming out of this well. Watson was up to some shady ****, Buzbee is an opportunistic Trumper douchebag, and the Texans were either covering up in the first place, or are throwing Watson under the bus for their own vanity.
Watson's value is crushed, but this is the same organization that gave away Duane Brown and D-Hop for nothing over bullshit reasons.
I'm merely calling attention to the hypocrisy in Buzzbuts claims of allegedly being sympathetic and supportive of abused women
when he's a big supporter of a person who's infamous for his shabby treatment of women which has nothing to do with politics.
Comprendo ?

Kraft is bound by a different set of rules.
Kraft is bound by a different set of rules. Watson is bound by the CBA which says NFL doesn’t have to care if you are guilty or innocent, just being accused and embarrassing the league is enough.

Ummm why?
Read the link FireBob provided.Doubtful
You're right, Kraft should be held to a much higher standard, as the NFL themselves dictate.Doubtful
I saw that the first time. You're right, Kraft should be held to a much higher standard, as the NFL themselves dictate.
"ownership and club or league management have traditionally been held to a higher standard and will be subject to more significant discipline when violations of the Personal Conduct Policy occur"
But does he play or ride the bench. The organization will be listening to offers up to the trade deadline. If suspended, he's allowed to participate in preseason. Once the season starts, no participation. But if suspended, the number 2 QB will have to get most of the work with the starters. Because of the team rebuild, Watson will have limited time to become familiar with the new offense and players. This throws a question mark at, once his suspension ends, when do you start him. To get the most value in a trade prior to the 2022 draft, you logically would want to have him start and play well. Some here suggest he will never play another down for the Texans. This wouldn't be smart. But ???I'm thinking he gets a 4 game suspension and plays out the rest of the yr. He doesn't want McNair to take back his signing bonus. That bonus will be used to pay off the women.

A team with solid starters with new QB Watson should do better than Texans with Watson and a 50 percent turnover. Miami or Chargers come to mind.
No, not really. I was responding to SteelB's post that he'll play out the season, presumably for the Texans, based on his following words. So, what conclusions am I jumping to?Your jumping to a lot of conclusions here.

Yes, it is just speculation that, once this all blows over, the Texans will NOT be listening to offers and that the front office will still want Watson as our QB. But quite a few are speculating that Watson's future is not with the Texans.Post 1215 covers a lot of ground. Mostly speculation.
I would also think, that in the court of public opinion at least, that one incident where all parties didn't seem to mind what was going on is vastly different than 20+ incidents where there are accusations that pale in comparison. Was Kraft accused of forcing, encougaging or even suggesting that a women do something she didn't want to? If not and Watson is guilty of what he is accused, why in the world should the punishment be the same?Rules are different for billionaire than millionaires.
An uncomfortable truth
Yes, it is just speculation that..
It's been repeated about a dozen times in this thread that no means no. Please stop this nonsense. You have absolutely no way of knowing that every woman coming forward said no. Thank you.
Exactly. So let's not say no means no and assume guilt please. And you have no way of knowing they didn't say it.
I am waiting with popcorn and nachos to see how Rusty Hardin tears all that up.Haven't been keeping up with full details of this fiasco. But, there should be money trails of airplane tickets and payment to these women. There should be text messages available to present in court. To me it's looking worse and worse for Watson. The timeline of incidents started in 2020. If he really was looking for just a "massage", why the hell would you reach out to a masseuse on Instagram? You've got the money and the means and the ability to talk to others for recommendations for a local masseuse. Flying a "masseuse" in from Georgia? Come on now.
I am waiting with popcorn and nachos to see how Rusty Hardin tears all that up.
Not true.

NFL: The Code of Conduct Applies to Robert Kraft, Too
The billionaire Patriots owner is subject to the same standards as everyone else, the league says.www.bostonmagazine.com
Sounds cursory. Can you go into more detail?

Perhaps to clarify the punishments the NFL can issue are much different. With Kraft they can fine him or even bar him from attending games but in reality it doesn’t affect his bottom line and they can’t force him to sell. With Watson they can suspend him from games which could result in the Texans not having to pay him, depending on how they play it, or even ban him from playing in the NFL. I don’t think they would, unless he is found guilty of everything, but the point is they can mostly inconvenience Kraft but they can destroy Watson’s career.
Here’s the other thing people need to stop comparing the two because in reality the only thing they have in common is both involved massages. Kraft was never accused of sexual assault like Watson is. What Kraft did was basically hired a hooker, that may have been what Watson did but it’s not what he is accused of.

It didn’t stop them from
They wouldn't be coming out if they didn't say no.
Mia KnalifaYes there’s a picture of him chilling with a porn star.
You've just presumed guilt. So it's not possible that some of these women were assaulted and some of them willingly performed sexual acts? They wouldn't be coming out if they didn't say no.

22 freaking women, come on dude.
It's not possible that 11 are telling the truth and 11 are lying? Come on dude.22 freaking women, come on dude.
Yes, it's substantial. Are you assigning guilt?
Guilty for putting himself in that predicament.
Guilty for allowing this to go public. They've talked him and his camp twice before going public with this.
Guilty for trying to screw the Texans out millions of dollars with that slick fly crap.
Exactly, it's amazing how one's memory can change just before the gravy train leaves the station. They'll be coming out for a life changing pay day.
