what makes you a instagram hoe ???? like what is the criteria???

Beautiful young lady with a lot of followers.
Every woman with a large following on IG will be called a IG model and every IG model is labeled as an IG hoe even if they don’t have an OF.

That later part was not said back then. Easterby name was never brought up. The report said OB brought up the baby mama stuff.

Just the fact that "baby mamas" is said in any conversation between management and players is beyond unprofessional. It's bush league garbage and speaks of a flawed foundational issue within this franchise.

The inherent question (to me) is if this was solely O'Brien's perspective, or, was it a mandate from above? We have our suspicions, some have more concrete perspectives, but it is a terrible look for an entertainment corporation in 2021.

Not sure. I'll need to do more research. . . :user:

anywho looks like this could drag on

guess watson is not playing 2021 or 2022 season

are only thing to look foward to is we will go 0-16 this year and get the number 1 pick next year !!!! yay :| and maybe god Easterby will be fired has well u think 0-16 will do it ???

You claim the Texans will receive high quality starters through the draft in compensation for Watson and I gave my own hypothetical result. I wasn't trying to be difficult, just pointing out the alternative result.

I will add this - if the Texans trade Watson and it goes side-ways for them, Nick Caserio will have difficulty finding a job anywhere else in the NFL. He's still a pretty young guy. This one decision, that others so flippantly think they could make with no problem, could utterly destroy his reputation.

Me personally, I don't care if they trade Watson or they don't trade Watson. As long as Cal is allowed to run this organization it's going to struggle finding and keeping talent. Cal (and JE) will only accept winning under their own conditions. They won't bring in talent that has "character issues" which I find pretty ironic coming from a bunch of self described devout Christians. I'd think they'd want players that have strayed from what they would consider a "moral path" so that they could repair those poor unfortunate souls. Instead, they want nothing to do with the Tyrann Mathieu's and Deandre Hopkins's of the world.

Metaphorically, the Texans are the white BMW sedan I saw on fire on the side of 59 as a drove home from work the other evening. Admittedly, I didn't mind the slower traffic around the car because it allowed me to get a good look. Fortunately, there wasn't anyone trapped in the vehicle and that's where the metaphor between the flaming BMW and the Texans organization ended. And no, I'm not talking about Watson being trapped. I'm talking about the fans, like yourself and many others, that are hopelessly emotionally invested in the Texans. Optimistic that the fire department is on their way right now to extinguish the flames and rescue you.

I don't think many teams are grading Nick yet. They can see that he took a job and I'm sure they don't hold it against him. They will judge the draft and FA signings. At least till Easterby is gone. As per public record he has been meadling in contact talks and more for awhile. You can't do anything if he is saying"no". Maybe tell Cal, but as you said in the dumpster fire of the FO, Cal would likely take Easterby's side. Similar to Smith getting a leg up on Kubes and OB.

Where were you when VY was in Tennessee? That team could go 1-15 & Texans fans would still be made if that 1 was in Houston with VY balling like the best college QB of all time.

If we trade Watson I hope it’s to an NFC team we only see once every four years.

Or this organization learns how to win games against the better teams.

Depending on the staff how we play. Remember, Jake Delhome took the Panthers to a SB with a good D and running game.

The Texans were working the phone hard for seat renewals before all of this came out. Never happened before. Free food etc. I even got a parking upgrade...hmmm

To be fair the whole NFL is working the phone hard. This last Super Bowl had the worst ratings since 07 which was Colts and Bears. When you figure that many are still on lockdown, seating was limited and the great story of Brady trying to prove he is the GOAT with a new team and the young GOAT of Mahomes standing in his way. Yeah this SB should have been a ratings smash but it wasn’t.

Things weren’t great before 2020 and then it was a bad year for football on many levels. I’m not sure the NFL will ever fully recover from the fallout of it.

Players took a stand they believe in.

Time to pay the piper.

Roger Goodell, NFL and CBS were pushing this social culture and social justice to a point of nauseating. Half of the CBS pre game show was downright cringeworthy. Reminds me of when ESPN decided to they wanted to do political commentary in stead of sports reporting. Damn near destroyed the network.

NFL also lost a lot of viewers and fans when they backed, supported and promoted players taking a knee, Many of those fans have not returned.

I guess when the last E in his name went missing, so did entertaining.
The commercials were better... even his pregame
Nothing about Sunday was good unless you were a Bucs fan. Pre game was crap, halftime was crap, I remember one or two commercials not being crap, and the game was crap. I enjoyed the Chiefs getting beat like a piñata. Best part of the game was Tommy getting up in Honey Badgers face. Don't piss off the ol man, Honey Badger!

And it still didn’t. 96 million still blows anything out of the water by a ton, or 7. Still in the top 20 of the most watched things ever.

Compared to a sitcom you're right but when a 30 second ad costs millions of dollars the standard by which its judged is different. Read the article, they are trying to spin it but CBS and the NFL were not happy with the number.

The Texans are in a no win situation right now with Watson. And before I go on, I do NOT feel sorry for Watson. He is getting paid handsomely by the Texans. That said...

I don't think he woke up one day while on vacation and said, "I'm going to screw the Texans over." I don't think one thing happened between Watson and the organization that blew this relationship up. I believe there was already a lot of turmoil brewing and the hiring of Caserio just caused it to bubble over.

I'm not taking sides in this conflict. And I am not the least sympathetic towards any of the parties involved. The only point I've been making all along is that if the Texans trade Watson, there's no chance they'll be compensated fairly, because that's almost impossible, and; they'll regret it for as long as a McNair owns the team. As for the fans, if the Texans trade Watson, get ready for unwatchable football in H-Town again. Yeah, they lost a lot of games in 2020. But most of those were exciting games, solely because of the stellar quarterback play.

Pancakes
-Texans say they aren’t trading Watson. Right now, they believe it.
-If they don’t trade him by the draft, he’s in for a long haul which he’ll have to sit out

Wilson
-Status quo
-Don’t know why people feel the need to report something if they don’t have new information to offer
-Nothing new; it’s a standoff; they don’t want to trade him; he still wants to be traded; no communication
-They’ve reached out to him; he doesn’t respond; ghosting the team
-If he was to engage them, that would give hope; he doesn’t want to give them that
-Why talk with someone when you’ve already communicated what you want? You already communicated the trade request through your representative
-For him to start having talks or considering things, while that may be what the fans and team wants, it’s contrary to his wishes; why engage if you have no intention of coming back?
-This is him being a man of his word and being intentional
-I’m told this is not a strategy or them wanting something. They want one thing: out. That has not changed. To say there’s something new, no there isn’t. People like the clicks or conversation or wanting to be relevant.
-I see people make a big deal about a lot of things; firing the equipment manager and on Sunday morning Adam Schefter is making a big deal out of that; Yeah, players like him and he was a good equipment manager; is he headline news? Not in my opinion. There are changes when you have a regime change. There will be more changes like that.
-Not everything is a huge deal; Some people love to create drama; players on social media, is it done to create disruption or is it genuine feelings? I wonder.
-Everything is a “big deal”; this is a team that people want to make everything more dramatic than they are

Pancakes
-Mulugheta & Watson at some point should have a meeting with the Texans so they can hear from Watson; doesn’t have to be a lot of give and take, just hear from him what does he want?; then tell him and Mulugheta face to face here’s exactly what we think then see where it goes
-I think we’ll be watching Deshaun sit out; he can retire
-Key is will they give in closer to the draft; if they do, it should start with the Jets

Wilson
-Keep an eye on the Miami Dolphins still

I'm sure the word blow or blew has alot to do with DW4 wanting to leave the Texans.

If they get the picks right it wont be unwatchable football. There was alot of unwatchable football the Texans played last yr. My question for you is are you good with watching a couple of more seasons of unwatchable football while they rebuild the team?

Of course we value DW4 much differently.

I wonder if we could trade Watson for Russell Wilson.

Could you get a couple players on defense and maybe a high draft pick?

Or would that be an even swap?

I'm starting to lean toward the "hell with him, we aren't trading him. You want to sit out, sit out."
Texans give in to him, the next time an owner or GM floats an air biscuit in public, these guys will want a trade!
I don't know if I'm in the "hell with him camp" at the end of the day, it's a business. & if he's not happy with the direction the team is going... ah well.

I do wonder how the Texans are going to go forward though, this situation has put them in a pickle. Salary cap issues from jump, reduced revenue from covid, now... most likely Watson dead money.

I understand 2021 is going to be a wash, but they still have to field a team.

I want to start over with a brand new quarterback from the draft if possible. I don't want any other vet with possible exception of Tua & him only if it does not negatively impact us getting a another draft pick in his place.

Seriously doubt Russ would wave his no-trade clause to come here..

We just hired a new character coach.

We are a very religious team now.

Wilson is just as religious.

It might be a good fit.

Plus our line is going to be a lot better.

I am just saying. Wilson just aired grievances against his team, Watson wants out, Texans are very religious now... It could work.

He may also want to play for a competent football organization..

His issue with Seattle isn't being kept from church, it's getting sacked too often..

Wondered if he's seen how much DW has run for his life..

Cherry Poppin' Daddies is an outstanding name! I was going to name my son Cherry Poppin' Daddy but the name got nixed by the ex. Now his name is Nathan. What kind of crazy name is that?!

I honestly think he is only still here because of the president it will set. Cal is not smart, but I don't think he will want to be the guy who made it possible for every unhappy player to just say "I want traded". Seeing if he is traded it will seem like that to many.

The more and more I read about Watson being disgruntled, the more and more I get the urge to see him traded. Anyone who has paid attention knows I love Watson the QB. I have defended him in numerous threads. I also think he is a bonafide top 5 QB in this league with massive potential to win it all with the right weapons.

That said, if he is truly hurt over his participation or lack thereof in the selection of a GM, then I cannot feel bad for him. If he think's the Houston franchise is insensitive where it pertains to social justice, I cannot agree with him.

If rumors are true and Miami is a likely trade partner, then I want to see it done.
Watson and Cunningham for 2021 1st (#3), 2021 2nd, 2022 1st and Tua'.

This teams needs draft choices and cap space. This trade alleviates those issues, and casts off a personnel issue.
What would you like to see happen?

I would agree, but we need that other 1st or something more. If a DB gets 2 1sts, Watson should get 3 I agree with the idea another person posted.

Exactly.

And whoever said Watson was not close to his coaches (father figure/mentor type thing), this is one of many things he has said.
