FIRE NICK CASERIO!!!

Speedy

Former Yeller Dweller
For the record, I will give Caserio the benefit of doubt. He'll get judged by me based on what he does with the Texans, just like O'Brien was. I just didn't like the perceived sneakiness of the way the Texans get him here. Makes me trust Easterby even less than I already did, and it certainly doesn't move the confidence guage off empty that I have for Cal.

First order of business is HC, of course. That will give us a little taste of what to expect in that if it's a New England guy or a Bob Lamonte guy, then that tells me that Easterby is really the one in charge here. Doesn't appear they're even interested in Bieniemy, so I don't know what that says. Texans are the only team with a HC opening that hasn't even made contact with him. I find that a little strange.

Oh I guarantee you there'll be some on this board serious about it before next season starts. It's just the way it is. LOL

Easterby = Little Finger/Cal = Fredo Corleone
Caserio has his work cut out for him after the debacle fat Travolta left behind. He has a ton of fat and dead weight to trim and plenty of holes with little draft capital. I want him to succeed because it means the team will be worth watching for me. Just hard for me to accept we’re still tied to NE.

I think it's obvious the McNairs don't know how to do it. At least they know they don't know how to do it.

Steelers or Patriots. Trying to figure out how those teams did it, poaching their people, that's what I'd do.

They chose the Patriots. I'm fine with that. The Patriots are just doing what Parcels did way back when.

We tried to make this denver East. It didn’t work. We tried to make this NE south. It didn’t work. I wish McNumbnuts hadn’t gone with another NE decision but it’s done. Please Don’t double down and hire McDaniels.

I hope they announce McDaniels as our HC before the end of the week.

not because I think he’s a good HC, but just to watch some heads pop.

Well, damn. Looks like Butt Chin got rid of Hopkins and Caserio might get rid of DW4. Smh!

I hope these are just a bunch of baseless rumors.

Might as well fully clean house and start over. His feelings are hurt because Cal hired Caserio and is going to let Caserio pick who he wants as the next HC instead of DW4's guy.

Wonder what they could get for him?

Where did you find that because I looked for it under this Zach Bolinger and first I couldn't even find that he actually writes for the AP, I barely found him and that was a couple of random tweets and I couldn't find this tweet anywhere.

Only thing I found with him and the AP was this.

And he wasn't the writer he took the picture at the top.

Not saying its fake but curious where it came from.

A couple firsts easily. Especially if Caserio is the good negotiator he’s rumored to be. Hell, a good DB along with a 1st and 2nd would be a win. Doubt it happens though. I bet these rumors are swirling around because of that “Some things never change” tweet.

Ok found it, thanks.

Still I call BS because the guy that is apparently the source, Mike Florio, also wrote this article on Jan. 7th

Seems to be trying to fulfill his own prophecy

From a strict business position......Watson would create a haul for the Texans. First, the list of teams that could have interest in Watson:
Jets
Patriots
Steelers
Raiders
Broncos
WFT
Giants
Cowboys
Bears
Vikings
Lions
Saints
Panthers
Falcons
49'ers

At minimum, the Texans could get picks spread over the 2021 thru 2023 NFL Draft(s). My starting price is 2- RD1 and 2- RD2 and maybe a young player.

Making Watson available will definitely create a bidding war for his services and the Texans could get a Herschel Walker type of haul b/c he's young and under a ready to go contract.

Worth mentioning....Watson's contract wouldn't be an issue for the team winning the trade derby b/c if it's the right team, Watson would probably be willing to renegotiate his contract to make the fit even better.

Plus DW4's contract would give a team like the Redskins a 2 yr window to win a chapionship before the $$$$ on DW4's contract kicks in.

IF Watson is traded before we even see what we have in Watson under someone else....... Im going to agree with SteelB just so that the final piece of the puzzle can be in place for Armageddon to begin and this world can burn and be done with it.:kitten:

That OR maybe Watson is pulling a Tunsil and helping us through trade to screw someone big time. Behind the scenes he is working to change his name to "Deshaun Jackson" so that by the time the trade is complete...... all the winning team recieves is a Deshaun Watson jersey.

I would like to see him traded. In fact, I would find it hilarious if Caserio trades him to the Patriots.
