Seeing what team he’s going to after the season.
According to former players. The game plan offense uses the first quarter to establish the run and probe the defense. It's a reactive approach that sounds great in theory, but sucks in real life. At some point, you have to understand that it's coaching and approach. That approach is different from the way, Kubiak scripted his first 15 plays.
Unfortunately, a couple of posters want to disingenuously use that as a criticism of Watson instead of the overall coaching approach.

Wow. DW4 with a pretty pass! Going to make Tennessee sweat a bit in the 4th. I won't be surprised if we lose due to some crazy play like we have lately, but at least we aren't just laying down and giving the game away.
