NFL Rules Experimentation

Officiating still needs to be fixed somehow, but anyone got any thoughts on these possible rules changes in the future?
NOT A FALSE START ON A FLINCH BY A FLEXED RECEIVER
It is not a false start
if a flexed, eligible receiver in a two-point stance who flinches or picks up one foot, as long as his other foot remains partially on the ground and he resets for one second prior to the snap. A receiver who fits this exception is not considered to be “in motion” for the purposes of the Illegal Shift rules.
It is not a false start if all 11 offensive players have been set for at least one full second and any flexed, eligible receiver breaks his stance by picking up both feet.

I think the second one is dumb becuz if I'm a coach I'mma have my flex WR INTENTIONALLY JUMP after one second of being set and make the other team jump offside!!!! Like EVERY PLAY
HHAHAHAHHAAHAAA

I personally think the penalty where the Dline jumps a little and the Oline moves back a little and points at him like a little schoolgirl, should be changed. That shouldn't be on the defense. That's the offense taking advantage. They already have all the advantage.

I agree something different needs to be done for onsides kicks. The way it is now, the chances for success are way too low. I’m not sure those proposals, eliminating kickoffs entirely, are the answer though.

For example, look at the impact kickoffs had in the Texans/Chiefs game. KC gets the big return, sets up a quick score. Texans fumble on a return, sets up another quick score. Don't know how much difference it would have made, but no kickoffs at all eliminates those plays.

As far something I’d like to see, I’d like to see less defensive penalties being an automatic 1st down. An illegal chuck on 3rd and 20 being an automatic 1st down is ridiculous. Defensive holding too. Offensive holding is a 10 yard penalty, defensive holding should be too. If that results in a 1st down, so be it, but an automatic 1st down is just too much.

All these new false start rules further complicate the zebras' jobs.......combining time with offensive minor subtle movements and defensive movements.......when they already have big time problems telling time............

In 2019, only 8 on-sides kicks have been recovered.
