I'd like to see the 9ers take it. I just really like their team and the way they were build. I like Shannahan as an offensive mind as well.

Not going to be upset if Chiefs win though. Mahomes was the guy I wanted the Texans to go and get in the draft. I like him as a QB a lot. Would also be nice to see Andy Reid get one.

Yeah. If Andy Reid wins it all, then I'll have hope O'Brien can as well. Just got to be patient.

yahh know I dont think mahomes would have the same level of success if he was drafted by the Texans ...and Watson would have made the sb if he was drafted by KC ….maybe yall are right maybe it is the coach and our offensive is whats holding this team back

Idk if u guys have a superbowl super food 4 super bowl dudes thread for this but I will share 4 u my famous sammy recipe

Vinny's superbowl chicken finger slider hoagie

buy a two lb bucket of chicken fingers from the deli already fried up

Half lb coalslaw.

Hooters sauce

Ranch sauce

French fries

Munster cheese

Sport peppers

Loafs of Italian bread loafs

Cut the loafs just a thin slice off the top and bottom and then through the middle so it's like a really long Texas toast then stuff the inside with the chicken fingers with the Hooters and ranch on top that then slaw then peppers then cheese. Edit also fries inside

Wrap it up in foil in bake 4 like 20 min at 300

Unwrap and slice it into little squares

Serve on a plate or just grab em and eat em!

Offense (KC) -vs- Defense (49's)......this will probably be one of the first times offensive fire power wins over a top defense. Playing conditions should be nice so the speed of KC will be at full tilt. It could be close but I think the Chiefs win by 10.

Really, really patient.
How do u think bears fans feel this superbowl is literally the team that traded their 2nd round pick to us 4 a bunch of picks so we could pick Turdbustky, against the team that picked Mahommes after we blew it and didn't even pick the 2nd best QB in Watson. It is literally two teams that made moves in the exact same draft to get them into a superbowl while all the bears got was KCs dum bald coach and his disco ball. Smh!

The Niners run game is epic. If it gets going in the SB it will be tough going for the Chiefs. Can’t score if you don’t have the ball.
1 point spread, that’s crazy. I’d figure at least a FG spread.
Don’t care who wins I just hope it’s a better game than that crap we had to sit through last year.

49ers.....KC is just Mahomes. Defense is overrated as hell. Slow him down you completely shut down that offense b/c their is no run game to speak of. The 49ers also not only have the d-line to do just that by themselves, they have smart, veteran leadership in the secondary with Sherman & they have fast & physical LB's that will have no problems covering Kelce or a rb out of the backfield.

On the flip side their offense just DOMINATED in the playoffs with Jimmy G throwing for only 200 yds and 1 TD......over 2 games. Who's gonna hold Kittle? Please don't say HB..he will get abused. They have the means to serve you however they need to. They can score quickly but can also play smashmouth football & where you down with the run game & KC's defense isn't good imo...they were just playing over their heads and drawing on the momentum their offense was creating. If they get down against SF, it won't be any coming back this time.

The Niners are the perfect team to match up with the Chiefs. They can get to Mahomes without blitzing. And they can control the ball with the run or short passing game. San Francisco by 10.

I'm expecting the 49ers to go full go against Mahomes when he decides to run the ball. It is unlikely that he will not be treated with kid gloves when he decides to run against the 49ers. Their D will not back off (within the rules) when Mahomes turns in his QB hat for a RB hat. Just the mere fear of being penalized hitting the QB turned RB (which has been verbalized by many defensive players) forcing defensive players to alter their game I believe will begin to fade, not only in this game, but next season as running QBs continue to be featured. A defensive player does not have to go helmet to helmet in order to "prove their point." They can send the message physically and mentally for that player to alter his "running ways"..............and all within the rules.

If your QB wants so badly to play like a rugby player, they should enjoy playing under the unprotective rugby rules.

Man, just re-watched the NFC title game. SF hardly ever rushed more than 4, forcing the Packers to play 5 against 7 the whole game. If that front 4 is that effective against the Chiefs, KC could struggle a little. Mahomes is going to have to be on the money.

KC did slow down Henry so I suppose they could do the same with SF. But if the Niners have that run game going, eating clock and limiting possessions for Mahomes, I think they win it pretty easily. KC is going to have to strike early, get a big lead and take the run away from them. Not saying Jimmy G can't beat them but he had like the 6th highest INT percentage this season. Better to take your chances with them going to the air than getting bulldozed on the ground.

I still don't know which way I'm leaning. I don't like the Niners so I'm rooting for KC. If it's a ground & pound game, the 9ers take it. If it's a track meet, advantage KC. Might be a little of both. I think it's going to be close to the number, just don't know which side I'm taking.

We're screwed either way.

If San Francisco wins we're going to hear, "should have drafted Garoppolo, should have traded for Garoppolo" & "should have kept lil Shanny." All summer.

If KC wins it's going to be, "should have drafted Mahomes."

We became 49er fans when the ex was stationed across the Bay in Alameda in 79-83. My son who was a Cowboys fan at the time, came downstairs with blue and gray sox on the morning of the game (The Catch game), I ask him who was he rooting for, he said the 49ers, told him he needed to change his sox.

I also have liked the Chiefs since way back when Len Dawson played.

Will root for the 49ers, but just hope to see a really good game.

Mostly I don't care about this game, but what little I do care about is KC losing. KC can kiss my ass.

KC and the Niners are roughly on the same 3 year plan that has yielded SB visits for both. They've drafted strong and built very good teams.

My issue......how the duck did the Texans and OB get so thoroughly dusted in the process while enjoying a 3 year head start and a couple of strong draft positions?

I like the Chiefs b/c their offense has the goods to blow this game open. If KC wants this game to go their way, stop the run and force Garoppolo to beat them. Now we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how this plays out......fortunately, I'll be in bed sleeping and will wake up for a Monday gym visit to see what the outcome was or to catch the final moments.

They should have.

But why does that make you screwed.

Kinda like the SB Denver won. I cant stand the Cam Newton Superman gig but if Denver won I knew the endless Kubiak's the greatest posts would come. I wasn't surprised when that's exactly what happened. Heck it's still happening today in a couple of Aggies minds.

GM doing a terrible job of drafting. I mean look at the last 6 drafts. The 2 worst records the had, they blew the Clowney future and didn't get their QB of the future and traded away picks for the wrong QB (Should've drafted Mahomes) do they didn't have their 1st or 2nd rd picks when they went 4-12. (Sheer stupidity) They also weren't good in the draft in other yrs either.

Now look back and see how the 49ers were built. Shrewed trades/FA signings and solid OL/DL type drafts and being able to find late rd starters at safety (Lynch's position) and a guy like Greenlaw whose play against the Seahawks helped setup this SB run by the 49ers.

I certainly didn't complain back then and wont gloat this time. Everybody knows my history when it comes to QB's. I dont need to gloat the facts speak for themselves.

BTW, Mahomes is the next great QB win or lose and the Texans are going to be chasing their bad decision to not trade up for him for the next decade.
