Bill O’Dumbass said today that they won’t be hiring a GM. Unbelievable.... Why because he has been so effective. So is O’Brien going to sign himself to an extension and raise.

I still think that ship has sailed though. OB has the power, why would he want to give that up?
 
I truly wonder what the chances are percentage wise that we will make any kind of change..I thought it’d be a foregone conclusion that we would finally can him because of the massive public backlash surrounding him thus far
 
What is so frustrating is, what do they think will be different next year? I doubt free agency has any kind of positive effect. Keeping the coaching staff is, they think will work, seriously. Only chance they have is if the 31 other teams get the plague.....

Apparently Bill O’Brien and company need the NFL Top 100 of all time to field a team that can get past the divisional round.

And would probably still lose in the AFC Championship game.

Yeah but not everyone can lose the divisional round.
 
Although it will be a long time before a contending team wears steel blue, it will be forever unless we get a different HC to oversee the rebuild.

For me this isn't about the draft capital spent. They have draft capital this yr. They're just missing their 1st rd pick. They will be fine if they hit on their picks and fix the defense. It can be done with a good FA/draft.

With that said, it's time for a house cleaning which includes both BOB and recapturing the picks RS spent on DW4. But we know with Cal none of this is going to happen. DW4 AND BOB are going to be here 3 more yrs like Corrosion said. Even though 51-7 says they both should be gone.
