Pre-Season...Game 4...Los Angeles Rams!

Do we have a quick fast rb on this team other than dj
I guess we will pick up someone after cuts are made
Or we try to take one off practice squad

I know it’s a bunch of guys that won’t be in the nfl in a week playing other guys who will be watching games with them, but I just feel like the Texans look kinda of raggedy in the way they play and execute and the rams look a bit more sharp.

I don’t like that. Not even from the C team.
A flag football team would look more prepared than what I see tonight.

Just saw McCarron on the sidelines. Why does he have eyeblack under his eyes?

Who’s the guy that came in for Webb? Why wasn’t he playing since the beginning?
Jordan Ta’amu. He’s the Hawaiian kid they signed a few weeks back that went undrafted. He was a pretty good college QB, but he was signed a day before the preseason started. (Around that time.) I guess he doesn’t know the offense yet, you know, O’Brien’s super ultra complex “system.”

We need to play a different QB in 2nd half. Unbelievable that Webb has played it seems 80% of preseason. We aren't even trying to look at someone else.
Webb gets hurt in 2nd half and we have nobody. Don't want to hear about McCarronmallett.
If they cut Buddy without even letting him play i will be pissed. All the RBs I have seen are slow and plodding.
Going to be a typical BOB offense. Slow, methodical, and bad. Watson will do his best but he can only do so much.
Big f$#%^ng deal that we may have a different coach calling actual plays it is still BOB offense.
Just my opinion.
WTF!!!!!!!!! Posted above at halftime.
BOB you don't have to be a genius but you can't be what you are!!

Don’t know why Tillman catches so much **** here. I’ve learned more from him over the years than anybody. Guy picks up the play quick.

Tillman is intelligent. A smooth talker. Knows football inside and out. Probably good with the ladies, too.

It's just his Tillman-isms during the game has become a running joke...and for good reason. They sound dumb.

Catch Tillman on a radio interview, though, and he's much better with his words - impressive, even - because he doesn't have to deliver what he perceives to be "good" color commentary. It's not good.

I don't think most people are truly mean-spirited toward Spencer. But Tillman makes it so easy to clown him.

Now we have to sign another QB.

Making the team: Dixon, Adams, Adams, Higdon, De Lauro. Aniebom would have made it if not for his late injury. Not making the team: Crockett, Warring.

So we have a backup QB that didn't take a single PS snap, and an emergency 3rd stringer being carted of in the last PS game, with an o-line that's likely to get QB1 killed at some point. Did I get that right?
No. None of the OL'men you saw Thursday night, with the exception of Rankin, have any chance of making the 53.

Thanks for a rational response. A lot of the responses however are beyond clowning him. But if you clown the clowners they go into meltdown and circle the wagons, lol.

Um, the o-line that will be on the floor of the Superdome is the o-line I'm talking about.
I dismiss all the TC negativity and focus only on what our OL will look like come New Orleans.

We have two possible starting lineups, and both will be better than last years OL. One, imo, will be better than the other.

By all accounts, OB is adamant that Kalil will start against NO. Howard should start at LG. Martin should start at OC. Normally, Fulton will start at RG and finally, Henderson will hold down the RT position. This is lineup #1.

Lineup #2 would insert Johnson at LT, move Fulton to OC and insert Scharping at RG. IMO, this is our best lineup. The talk is always that they want to start their 5 best players and lineup #2 is that, in my opinion.

I feel good about this lineup. It could be better, but is a significant upgrade over last season and will be, at least, middle of the pack in effectiveness. So, as far as our line getting Watson killed at some point in the season, I believe we've improved our line to the level where this likelyhood is is no more certain than your average line, given the violence of the game.

This relies on BOB making the correct decision. Do you have faith that he will? I definitely prefer Lineup#2 and think it's the best we have. That should still tell you something isn't quite right, if that's the best lineup we can trot on the line to protect Watson.
