Exactly! Screw the networks.
Only good thing is this winner tonight will have a short ass week. If that’s even a plus, who knows.
And the Arlington’s get Prime time! Smh

Assuming the Colts hold on to win... We don't matchup well in the trenches against the colts. I'm hoping for the best but have little faith in us pulling out a W. TY Hilton will go ham, we don't have an answer for him and Ebron is healthy now. The colts D-line is fairly strong against the run so we might be one dimensional. Who knows what jukey "run Watson to death" plays Obrien comes up with. I'm hoping like hell we can keep playing after next week though!

The Texans have played in the Saturday 3:30 PM slot in all 5 of the wildcard round games. All at home. It's a tradition. And you don't want to mess with tradition.

How about that tradition of being absolutely owned by the Colts in the 4th quarter, can we mess with that one please?

A ham can be carved and chilled; perhaps O'Brien will prepare another winning meal if not a feast for fans. I'd like to see RAC put Clowney as spy to mirror Luck and someone on Hilton. I'm more interested in controlling Luck than hurrying or forcing out of pocket.

Well we don’t match up well with anyone according to you guys...except that’s not true at all. Last 2 contests against the Colts were decided by 4 pts or less...season series split was 1-1. combined pt totals in both those games for each team? Dead even. 58 pts scored for us....58 pts scores for them. So..seems like we match up with them pretty well.

We don’t run it well...
We don’t pass it well...
Our o-line sucks...
Our play calling sucks...
Our coaching sucks....
Our secondary sucks....

I mean why even play the game? Bunch of eeyores in here.

We have fewer healthy receiving threats than last game. Our coach is going full retard with his play calling. And we don't have an answer for TY Hilton. Being realistic is not allowed? You have your opinion, I have mine. You're welcome to yours just as I'm welcome to mine.

The Baltimore Ravens.

Have you watched them play? I watched a lot of their game against the Saints & I watched all of last week's game against the Browns. Just looking at their offense I don't see them going too far in the playoffs. But with that defense, they could go all the way.

Our defense isn't playing at that level.

But I'm really impressed by how the offensive coordinator was able to tailor that offense to Lamar Jackson. Which boosts the running game. Teams know they are going to run the ball. If Edwards is in the game it's coming up the A gap. If it's one of the other two guys it's not. Still, they dominate on the ground.

What a ******* season this turned out to be. I got my whole family hyped about the Texans this year. It all started with the Cowboys game I watched with my dad and my youngest brother and they were hooked from there, everybody got together to watch a lot of Texans games with me this year and we made some great new memories. This was definitely one of the best seasons we ever had. Just wanted to enter a log into my diary here to note a few things:

Started 0-3 and finished on an 11-2 run including 9 game win streak longest in franchise history. 11 wins is second most in franchise history behind only the 2012 season(12-4).

Won 5th AFC South Division title in the last 8 years(this year AFC South had more victories than any other division in league)

Defense ranked 4th in the NFL in fewest points allowed(tied the 2011 team for the highest ranking in franchise history)

Defense ranked 3rd in fewest rushing yards allowed

According to Profootballreference.com's "SRS" rating system(which factors in strength of schedule, performance etc) this was the second best Texans team in franchise history behind only the 2011 squad.

402 points scored this year second most in franchise history behind 2012 season.

316 points allowed this year fourth best in franchise history

Deshaun Watson 4,165 passing yards is 3rd best for single season in franchise history behind Matt Schaub's 2010(4,370) and 2009(4,770) seasons.

Watson's 26 touchdown passes is 2nd most in single season in franchise history behind only Matt Schaub's 29 in 2009.

Watson's 9 interceptions is the fewest ever by any Texans qb that started all 16 games in a season

Watson's 103.1 passer rating is the highest ever for any Texans qb that started all 16 games in a season

Watson's 5 fourth quarter comebacks and 5 game winning drives most ever for a Texans QB in a single season(he ranked 2nd in the NFL in both categories this year)

Watson's 68.3% completion percentage ties David Carr's(!) 2006 franchise record for highest completion percentage by Texans QB who started all 16 games in a season.

Deandre Hopkins 115 receptions ties Andre Johnson's single season franchise record set exactly a decade ago.

Hopkins 1,572 receiving yards is 3rd most single season receiving yards in franchise history behind only Andre's 2008(1,575) and 2012(1,598) seasons.

Hopkins finished 3rd in NFL in receptions with 115, more receptions than Antonio Brown(104) and Julio Jones(113), Hopkins had more touchdowns(11) than Julio Jones(8) and more receiving yards than Antonio Brown(1,297), who no-showed the Steelers finale against Cincinnati like a diva when his team needed him to try to make the playoffs. Hopkins on the other hand carried the Texans on his back this year there is no doubt at least in my mind that he is the best in the NFL right now in 2018-2019. Hopkins was must-see TV this year, it was very much like JJ Watt in 2014 you just stayed glued to the Texans games to see what he was going to do next.

JJ Watt's comeback has been one of the best things about the Texans season to me. Seeing him wreck that Giants game got me fired up about football. Watt finished the year with 16 sacks, 2nd in the NFL behind Aaron Donald(20.5), he finished tied for 1st in the NFL in forced fumbles(7, tied with Dee Ford). So a guy like Khalil Mack coming off of all the media of his trade you heard a lot more about him being a DPOY candidate this year than Watt but Watt finished with more sacks, more tackles, more QB hits, more tackles for loss, and more forced fumbles than Mack(they both had 4 passes defended). Aaron Donald will most likely win DPOY and I don't really have a problem with that(he did finish with more sacks, more tackles for loss, and more QB hits than Watt) but Watt did finish with more forced fumbles, more passes defended, and more tackles than Aaron Donald. So I definitely think Watt is being undersold this year because he's not playing in LA or Chicago, he's better than Mack and just as good if not better than Donald and yet you just don't hear his name mentioned with those two.

Going into the playoffs for the 5th time this will be the 8th playoff game in Texans history, since the 2002 realignment when we entered the NFL that gives the Texans more playoff appearances than Oakland(2), Jacksonville(3), Cleveland(1), Buffalo(1), Miami(2), LA Rams(4), Arizona(4), San Francisco(4), Tampa Bay(3), Detroit(3), Chicago(4), and Washington(4), while tying us with Tennessee and the Jets. If the Texans can beat the Colts in the Wild Card game(and the Bears lose) that will give Houston more playoff victories since 2002 than almost half(15) of the opposing 31 NFL teams(we currently have more than Cowboys, Redskins, Lions, Rams, Dolphins, Bills, Bengals, Browns, Raiders, and Chiefs and are currently tied with Bears, Vikings, Buccaneers, Titans, and Jaguars)

Can't wait for the playoffs. We got Watson and a top 5 defense we got a chance to win the Super Bowl right now, **** the media Go Texans!

If RAC doesn't play more press in man coverage, we can expect what we saw in week 14. He could have them play zone and keep them from getting big plays down the field. Having CBs playin 8 yards off the LOS isn't going to cut it.
I don't have a warm and fuzzy about this game. These Colts have been playing some good football. The Texans do have Watson, so anything is possible.

Here are four offenses that are most concerning heading into the playoffs:
David Carr

4) Houston Texans:Deshaun Watson has too much on his plate, working behind an offensive line that has royally struggled in pass protection. He's been sacked a league-high 62 times (and at least four times in 10 different games this season). Per Elias, there were only six other quarterbacks in NFL history who were sacked at least as many times as Watson in 2018. I was one of them (sacked 76 times in 2002), so I know how hard it is to play the position when you're getting hit all the time. For me, it's frustrating that the Texans have this same problem 16 years later.

For me it’s frustrating that he has put more work into watching and analyzing game film now than he did 16 years ago when he was with the Texans.

Has he though? A lot of these players turned media don’t even pay attention. EX: Deion Sanders thinking Kevin Byard was a fan giving him a hard time on twitter when he questioned the validity of Sander’s top safeties in the NFL rankings. The guy didn’t even know who an all pro safety was yet was tasked with putting together a list of top safeties in the league...

Similarly, David put his brother Derek in his top 5 QBs when he ranked them before the season. I don't think he watches much film, I don't think many of them do.

Yea I can't remember who it was, but earlier in the year 3 guys on NFLN were "debating" who was the best receiver in football. Back when Thielen was leading the league in yards, so he was the flavor of the month. The guy that "chose" Thielen didn't sound overly confident in his opinion, and just regurgitated some stats, and was like yup best receiver.

The Patriots have not lost a game at home this year and most of their home-field games they stomped on the opposition. The closest game was the shootout against KC which they won by three points. The next closest was their home opener against the Texans which they won by seven and we should have won. Point is, I believe the Texans can beat the Patriot in Foxborough. It is time for the Texans to seize the day. This could be their year.

I sure hope DW4 does not miss those two long TDs again this week. Sick of this SMAK, like that game we should have stomped them

The "sleeper" pick: Speaking of the Patriots being knocked off early, the Texans might be best poised to accomplish the feat. In fact, if they had earned a higher seed and were going to host potential games against the Patriots and Chiefs, model V3.0 would have designated them as the top AFC team. They have their top trio of offensive playmakers healthy: quarterback Deshaun Watson, receiver DeAndre Hopkins and running back Lamar Miller. Meanwhile, their defense, led by J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney, has the most takeaways (29) on their side of the playoff bracket. Model V3.0 rewards balance on both sides of the ball, and the Texans are one of the most balanced teams, as evidenced by their top-five offensive mark in yards per pass attempt (8.2), and top-five defensive standing in points allowed (19.8).

-- It's tempting to get excited about the streaking Colts, who won nine of their last 10 to reach the playoffs after starting the season 1-5, but they've had one of the easiest schedules in the league, they're in the bottom third of the league in yards per pass attempt (7.1) and are one of the most penalized teams in the league. According to model V3.0, the chances of Indy putting together a three-game win streak on the road are worse than rolling snake eyes.
