Ok. The Dolphins threats are DeVante Parker and Danny Amendola. With Brock Osweiler at quarterback, how much of a threat are they? Danny won't have Tom throwing to him. I really don't think he's the threat he was in New England.
Their defense is middle of the pack.
Quite frankly, there is nothing to fear from the Fish.
Here. At home. Watson gets his legs under him further. JJ and Clowney will dominate.
Our Texans will have won 5 straight after this game. Time to fry up some fish.

This is by way of being a tossup. Home field advantage decides it. Toros 23, Porpoises 20.

WOW! Frank Gore is really 4th on the all-time rushing leader board, behind only Sanders, Payton and Smith? Never would have guessed that.

There was a time where I'd leave work early to make it home for a Texans game that had a 5:30pm Pacific start.

Never again. Well, maybe.

But not this Thursday.

Im sure my Brocktastic PTSD will be triggered watching the awkward footwork on his first drop.

Dolphins are mammals btw. Probably still tasty, though.
Yes, mammals despite the title of the thread. You have to wonder how much of the tuna we eat is really dolphin. You can't intentionally eat dolphins. They're too intelligent.

People eat dogs, cats and horses, they're intelligent.

Of course that all depends on what you call intelligence. Nothing we know of even approaches the human capacity for attaining, keeping, using, and expanding on knowledge. And we used to dine on our fellow humans as well.

O’Brien says Brock Osweiler is playing really well right now. Has a great history with Adam Gase. #Texans

BOB: Asked him if bus ride was OK with him, he said yes, of course. He’s a winner. He wants to win. #Texans

BOB: Not getting into details of Watson’s injury. I’m not a doctor. Best thing was for him to go on a bus to Jax with trainer, security. #Texans

Bill O’Brien: Deshaun Watson’s bus got back to Houston this morning and will participate in #Texans practice.

Well what everyone was expecting has now been confirmed. Tannehill out, Osweiler will get the start. If there isn't at least one fan at the game wearing the Trashweiler Halloween costume that was popular here during that season then I will be very disappointed

I think our team is built to beat teams who dont have an elite offense, so see a win Thursday. D can shut them mostly down, and offense will do enough against an average defense. We have been facing better defenses, and Thursday night is always HUGE advantage for home teams

Why did we stop?

If they'd have just stuck to arms, legs, and the mid section cuts of meat, they'd have probably been OK. But when they started eating brains and bone marrow of their fellow humans, well, that's like having kids with your sister, there's a hell of a good chance things can go wrong. Ancient people knew this, but did it anyway it would seem. Cannibalism was usually most prevalent in religious or war situations and was not a "common" thing to do. Unless you were really hungry I guess.

There's a human variant of mad cow disease that is specific to eating human brains. The peoples that (generally) carry the most genetic anti-bodies for this (which means they must have eaten a lot of human brains in the distant past) are Japanese and Great Britain.

Tannehill was mishandled when he tore his partialACL last year but was told he didn't need to repair it. Now, they're doing the same with his shoulder. QBs can be ruined by poor handling of their injuries...............

Ryan Tannehill shoulder injury chapter is a bad look for the Miami Dolphins

Ryan Tannehill’s shoulder injury has been a sad chapter in the history of the Miami Dolphins.

It’s not easy to say that because we’re still reading the paragraphs. The whole story has not yet been told. What is seemingly pledged as truth one day collapses under the burden of facts the next. So it should be difficult in the dense forest of this constantly changing landscape to say something is definitely amiss.

But it’s not difficult. It’s obvious.

Something is definitely amiss.

We’re still in it and already we know this is ugly.

The Texans worked out collegiate sprinter, ex-Dolphins starting CB CB Tony Lippett tonight. 6'3" 200# He was released in Sept at final cut down due to poor preseason performance. Will the Texans sign him as a spy or are they going to sign another Webster.................Lippett ruptured his Achilles during a preseason practice as he missed the entire 2017 season.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. These words are usually credited to the acclaimed genius Albert Einstein.

Further proof there are no Einsteins employed by the Texans.

Fish, Oz and all beat the Bears... it's never going to be easy for the Texans

Brock is 3 and 0 going against the Bears(all 3 were his first start for that team)
The Dolphins will be down 2 of their best receivers
Also I have never seen more 3 yard passes go for 20+ as I saw in that game

The #Texans are wearing these color rush uniforms Thursday night vs. Miami.

Finally get to watch the game in my new home.

Will be another ugly game.

Texans 23
Dolphins 10

Congrats on the new home!!

I agree - kind of a sloppy game in store. I hate TNF so many ways. Let me count the ways. Ok I won't here, but Lord I hate Thursday football. TNF tends to be sloppy as is and with these two titans of mediocrity I expect that in spades. I see a relatively low scoring affair with more lowlights than highlights.

20 - 13 Texans.

Did you buy in Houston? We have to wait until 2024 but when it gets here, we'll be buying in Atascacito/Humble. I grew upon the East Side next to Budweiser but we're looking forward to our retirement.

We purchased in Spring Texas. My kids are going to the KLEIN district now.

We looked at several homes in the Humble/Atascacito area as well. Pretty hard choice since there were so many options.

Thank you Porky.

The thing is we can blow this team out. I believe we will jump on them in the 1st half and then go ultra conservative in the 2nd half like we did on Sunday.

Nice area. My sister lives across the line in Tomball. Whenever a squall line comes through Houston her yard and sometimes her lower floor gets flooded. Hope you don't have that problem.

This past spring, because so many fans hated their team's color rush uniforms, there was consideration of doing away with the Thursday Night Football color rush uniforms. However, poor taste was destined to win. The owners who were the sole determinants behind the introduction of these uniforms, managed to use their control to keep them in play this season. It's interesting to note that in 2015, the Jets and Bills wore color rush uniforms that left those afflicted with red-green color blindness unable to follow the action and totally confused as to whom they were watching.
