It's a great day for a great official game day thread, and a great day to watch a great game!

Go Texans!

Finally, football is back. I thought this off season, which actually began in the middle of last season, would never end.

Please, above all, no frigging injuries. It would be nice if we could beat them by 30 or 40 points or so. I'm not asking for much.

First play on offense: run up the middle
I wouldn't argue that for a second. LOL

@AaronWilson_NFL: Texans expected to turn to Bruce Ellington and undrafted rookie Vyncint Smith opposite All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins with Will Fuller dealing with a hamstring injury sustained during the preseason that has limited him all week in practice.

WFV and Kevin Johnson are seemingly always injured. Have we ever been healthy to start a season?

Does anyone know a good site to stream the game from? No directv this year. Got tired of being a$$ raped just to keep Sunday Ticket.

I caved and got it this week lol. NFL reddit streams. I’ll post a link when it starts.

The game is the National game. Don’t you get it locally?

I've caved and bought NFL Gamepass today. £135 for 16 games minus any that are on SkySports is a lot but these illegal streams are often such poor quality.

Is it that much just for the Texans games or for ALL the games this season? If it's just the Texans, that seems pricey. Sunday ticket over here is $300 and you can usually talk them down another $50-$100

NFL Gamepass doesn't get you live games during the season. The fact that sports leagues don't offer decent streaming packages is just completely fucked up. I would gladly buy a streaming package for the Texans and the Astros if they were available. For now though, at least the NFL is still broadcast.

All games live all teams minus except you don't get any primetime games or the 2 sunday games picked by SkySports. There is a load of content available as well as catch up of short highlights, 40 minute full game, and full broadcast available which does improve the value somewhat. Although frankly its only the 12-14 Texans games a season that aren't on Sky that I've bought it for as the rest I can live without.

@Thorn Gamepass is a little different in foreign territories I believe, live games are available by and large.

Oh right, I forgot about Sammie Coates.

Alright TE guru O'Brien, time to use your tight ends. You drafted two of them.

OK, it sounds like the Max option on our Sunday Ticket. With Max, in addition to satellite broadcasts you get the streaming and the additional content you mentioned.
