I don't know but that I have to disagree to a point. There are several items worthy of discussion, for example, should our first four picks go all offense. I took the position, yes.
I then decided OC, QB and Running Back were the least of our offensive worries, but, even with our FA pickups, we still needed an OG, OT, TE and WR.
I then studied players from these three positions which I liked and which, after studying multiple Big Boards, seemed to fall in our drafting range. I came up with a short list of 11 prospects from which I had:
Branden Smith, OG at 68; Dante Pettis, Return Specialist/Slot Receiver @ 80; Brandon Parker, OT @ 98; and Dalton Schultz, TE @ 103.
Yesterday I ran across a 7 Round Mock Draft by NFL's Dane Brugler, which I posted in the other thread. He had Smith going at 67, Pettis at 99, Schultz at 107 and Parker at 111. So my list is more or less dead on target in agreement with Brugler
There will certainly be surprises on draft day, but still, one can make honest appraisals of where players are widely ranked and select targets for the Texans. I've got lots of flexibility in my short list, plus I've added a couple. So what do we have now, a week and a half?
