I'm starting to be more and more convinced of the "marketing company with a football division" take when they ship off a solid LT for off-field issues and refuse to even look at a Super Bowl QB that is better than any other option due to off-field issues. What are they scared of? They've got a 30,000+ waiting list for season tickets. So freakin' what if some thin-skinned fans quit on the franchise. There are plenty more to take their place. . .according to the marketing department, of course.
 
Hi guys long time no see but i wanted to come by n express my condowlences about this. Watson was taking the league by storm n it hurts to see a talent like that get hurt again. bears fans have been following watson really close because alot of us wanted watson over the trubinsky guy we got n he is not playing like a pro but watson was playing like he was what RG3 was supposed to be maybe even better

sucks man i feel bad for ya boy and if it makes ya feel any better i dont think trubinsky will catch up in stats even though he still has 8 more games 2 play this season and watson will be sitting on a bench or wheelchair. hope the sugary goes well n they fix it 4 good i heard this was like a injury that already happened n it was noncontact so i was like wtf? errybody in chicago is happy GM didnt take him with the injury concerns but i think he will still ball out even if they give him a dead mans knee he is still a good pocket passer n makes good decisions

just so u know i have that confidense in ya boy i picked him up in TWO of my ffl keeper leagues so i got him nxt yr when he ready to come out n ball out again!

Well, McNair's big white marketing gimmick is hurt and probably done as a force, so he can't afford to offend the demographic.
 
u guys should be signing kaepernik imo its the best replacement 4 what u just lost but i can see why ur owner wont after he made those comments basically saying he doesnt want black ppl to fight for rights but if kaepernik would agree to stand if he gets 2 play then why not????

This really makes it seem like it aint so bad buddy

maybe they even give him something to make it heel quicker n can get him back at least maybe in a brace or something n just give him good protection n he can pass from a clean pocket? if he can walk on it n it dont look hurt to the eyetest than maybe with doctors these days they can get it fixed sooner then l8r?

i remember when urlacher got hurt with a knee he went 2 a guy in germany that put special cells into his own blood and mixed it all up with a machine that spins em all 2gether n he got it injectioned in2 his knee n he was heeled 3-4x as fast? they should look into the german sports science it is revolutionarily amazing imo
 
Someone involved with our Texans pissed in the wrong persons Cheerios and now we are cursed. Whoever they are I wish they would plead for forgiveness and ask that the curse be removed.
 
about an year and a half ago i was in a car accident and hurt my leg too

i was texting and saw the green light so i kept going and hit some dumb girl that that was also texting and didnt go when the light turned

she tried to tell me it was my fault and i said i don't think so buddy green means go

!

she called the cops and told them it was my fault and i said wtf she didn't even go when the light turned and she was probably texting and driving which is illegal in chicago and she said i was probably texting so the cops tried to get my phone i said no way buddy and tried to move away and a cop pinned the back of my knee to the curb

!

i had to get a mri scan and there was legament damage and it hurt

took me about six months to to be able to spar at the boxing center but sometimes it still hurts even after all this time

i think watson will be ok for next year and even come back better than my recovery because he has professional athletic therapists to help him

i really like watson and am sad he's injured but it could be worse you could be a bears fan buddy

i think God gave u that last concussion on purpose buddy so you would quit boxing b4 ur brains turned into mush but i dont think God did this to Watson buddy because Watson seems like a good boy who is good with God and good 2 his mom and his neighbors but i agree sometimes theirs no reason it is just random because not errybody can be special all the time at the same time

I sure do appreciate it. Went to boot camp and A school in Great Mistakes. Chicago not too bad of a town, I just like to legally possess my firearms...haha

Before we completely derail the thread, I think Watson will come back fine. As many I have spoken with have pointed out, the ACL surgery has improved vastly and athletes are coming back just as good, if not, better than before the injury and not sustaining new injuries

i'm not aloud 2 own guns but you can have them now in the city n even concealed carry pistols here now so its gotten a lot better if you go into a bad area u can defend urself but i can get by just aswell with my fists n my baton n my knifes n tasers n even a sock fullup with pennies if i need 2.

thats why young pitchers get there timmy johns elbow surgery earlier in life now instead of later because the legaments do come back stronger

its easy just throw it in my backpack or fannypack or wear some cargo shorts but gotta wear a belt so they dont fall down because all that stuff can be pretty heavy

The ACL surgery has vastly improved from what I'm hearing as well. Whoever operated on AD, find him, have him fix Watson.
 
Appearing on Friday’s edition of the PFT PM podcast, Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson explained what happened when Watson was injured at practice on Thursday.

“Just a normal read-option,” Jackson said. “He kind of kept it and he was just kind of running. I mean, he wasn’t 100-percent full speed. He was just kind of trotting and went down. We didn’t think nothing of it because it didn’t look serious. But for your quarterback to go down, everybody kind of hesitates to make sure he’s all right. He got up with his usual smile on his face, so everybody kind of thought everything was OK.”

Jackson made it clear that there was nothing unusual about the play.

“It just happened,” he said. “No jump cut, no nothing. It just happened, just happened. It was one of those freak accidents. It just happened.”

Jackson said that he believed Watson’s departure from practice was believed to be precautionary, and that it was a shock to learn that he had torn an ACL.

“Because I saw how it happened, I was like, ‘Man, it’s got to be a joke,'” Jackson said. “Because it was nothing at all. He was just kind of trotting and he just kind of went down. And even when he went down, no one thought anything of it.”

guys i have to tell you that i left this bears site after all of the negative comments to watson after a potential career ending knee injury

its like bears fans litreally are celebrating watson getting injured so they can claim that the bears gm was right in drafting trubinsky

i think its quite sick to be happy about watsons injury for personal braging rights when it still doesnt even make trubinsky a good qb

A great silver lining is that it shuts up the premature arguement between trubisky and Watson that I am done with. Hopefully pushes the sting out of here.
