O'Brien did come to his senses at halftime last week. I think it would have been great to let Watson sit on the bench and learn this year. But the Texans didn't have a vet QB that could handle the situation. So Watson will have to learn on the fly. What he has that really can't be taught is poise. I love that Watson played his best football in the 4th quarter.

Man we have ZERO CHANCE against the Pats....... they have had our number the last few years like they have a cheat sheet...... that's not changing with al these injuries and that OLine....... not to mention BeliCHEAT will coach our so called Coach out his socks and make him look foolish

Know how to win might be a tad overboard.

O'Brien only needs to ride the coat tail of the D, call a run up the middle and a pass to Hopkins on the sideline.
Then hope that Watson break one.
I mean how hard to think of that "strategy".
 
Awesome to get a win under the well documented circumstances then facing the added in-game adversity of losing both starting CBs.

The good guys showed heart to get the win tonight. Something they didn't show last week. We gotta get a lot better fast but we're back in the hunt!
 
Same old ****. Same horrible playcalling. Same horrible execution. Same horrible usage. Same everything. We won, wooooo. Good, great, grand. Now are we gonna lose by more than or less than 35 next week?

Glad to see Good Kareem tonight. He was excellent. As was Zach Cunningham and Eddie Pleasant. McKinney too. JJ was better but he's a different player and it shows. So many of his plays would have ended up completely shut down and nailed down by him before the injuries. Hopefully it's a matter of time and he gets back to that.

I hate myself for watching this instead of taking my customary nap. Almost fell asleep multiple times. Even the obviously nice touchdown by Watson aroused no emotion out of me. It was as if that it didn't even happen.

I'm so...uninspired.

Nobody and I mean nobody gave the Chiefs a chance to beat the Patriots. Not only did they win, they beat the brake dust out of them.

So never say never.
 
Bill O'Brien and Deshaun Watson could be a great marriage for a long time! Gutsy performance tonight despite not having enough available bodies at wide receiver and tight end. I hope Duane Brown ends his hold out before our Week 3 showdown with the Patriots at Foxborough. Let's go in there and upset the defending Super Bowl champs on the road!
