I'll be down there tonight with my little (10 years old now) Texans fan. We will be there early to hang out when they are practicing.
Hoping this doesn't turn out to be one huge crap-fest, but that's kind of what I'm thinking it's going to be.
I won't be surprised to see either team win or lose this game.

Both teams have mad o-line issues that hinder the rest of the offense. However, I give the Texans the defensive edge and suspect them to be the difference.

Dear God, Zeus, Krishna, or whoever the hell you are, please help the Texans. They are beyond their own control and need assistance, that at this point, only a divine being can impart. I would normally ask the football gods, but they don't listen to anyone from Houston.

Was thinking about a sign, but nothing big. You see, JJ Watt has given my son footballs on two separate occasions and we've been to Houston, Indy, and back in Cincinnati tonight trying to get a signature. We will be there when the gates open to get a spot that will help. Him and I have been in pictures the last couple years when we went to Indy to watch the Texans take on the Colts. I swear I can honestly say even as a Bengals fan, the Texans are now a VERY close #2 team for me because of how much my son gets into them. It's good being Dad !!!

I am not really excited about watching the game. I am a long time Houston football fan going back to 1978, but can't remember feeling this apathetic in the past. It wasn't that we lost or how bad we lost, it wasn't even that we have no o-line. It was the fact that we have a fickle HC who hasn't learned anything from his mistakes in the past and a GM that has no concept of how to build a winning team. I just don't see this ship being righted until there are wholesale changes made and that has to include getting rid of RS. I have serious doubts that will happen. Hopefully this organization proves me wrong. Preferably that this coaching staff and FO demonstrates they can get the job done - I really hate regime changes because so many times that just kick the can down the road and means it will be that much longer before we see results. But if that is not the case (they right the ship, which I have difficulty seeing happening), hopefully McNair pulls the plug on the life-support and we see a new GM and HC which he gives all the space they need to operate.

But the man with two butts was hired by the man with no brain on a team owned by the man with no clues. We'd have to be the Aztecs to pull that one off.

I have a tweet out to the wise elder who once spoke of the man with 2 butts. He will know what to do about the man with no brain who has naked donkey loving pictures of the man with no clues.
 
I've learned not to take off work early for these Monday/Thursday games anymore.

I'll be watching the pending disaster about an hour or two delayed.
 
A sad sack o-line, all three TEs are out, only one or two decent receivers, a rookie QB who hasn't been practicing that much with the 1s thus far, and OB for your offensive coordinator. What could go wrong?

I can't imagine this team play any worse than Week 1.
The Texans may just surprise everybody and win tonight!


We'll go 7-3 in the next 10 games and start to go on a nice roll.
And then Brian Cushing will come back on Nov. 28 to give us a boost.
We should be firing on all cylinders just in time for the playoffs!

Deshaun Watson gives me a lot of confidence. The kid is special.
I'm really excited to watch him play. He should have started Week 1.
 
I've been cheering the Oilers/Texans since 67. I'll play devil's advocate haha today because of all the low score, weird, a fiasco, Bengals favorite to win, another lost, no OL, season over, and et cetera get the idea. Texans will surprisingly win and with authority tonight. Meanwhile Watson will again read mom's letter again given back during the draft selection. Happy BDay Deshaun good luck and the offensive line too. Go Texans

Wish I could smoke. I'll be up at Gators, because I have to go to a bar to watch the game. I don't get NFL Network.

Sigh. Smoking would actually really improve my viewing experience.
 
Focus needs to be on Texans defense getting takeaways while offense is not allowing turnovers. Watson just needs to manage a clean game.
