Watching the Bucs/Eagles. Not good for the Bucs so far. They keep turning the ball over.

hell, why not? As you say, get as much red zone practice as can be had. What do you guys think about going for two in the preseason?
Personally i want my first team to go for two every time. It's amnother red zone opportunity as far as I'm concerned. Can't get enough of those. There should be plenty of field goal opportunities for the kicker later in the game. Hopefully a couple of extra points as well.
But i want my 1st team working as much as possible in the red zone.

Teams don't go for two every single time in preseason, because whatever works they'll be tipping their hand and putting too much on tape for other coaches to look at. It could come back to bite them later on in the season. That's why they do goal line drills in practice.

Yep. Looks as though LA is glad to have the team back. I heard earlier today that they had sold 90K tickets, and looks as though they sold the additional 10K.I honestly didn't know the Rams were originally the LA Rams.
The Rams actually originated in Cleveland and moved to L.A. in the 40s.I honestly didn't know the Rams were originally the LA Rams.
He sure is.Prescott is looking good.
Serious? As ObsiWan said, they started in Cleveland, but to not know they were in LA before....I honestly didn't know the Rams were originally the LA Rams.

You're in your early 20's?
even so, Goff looked like Hoyer against the Cowboy 2's and 3's
Prescott went against the Rams' 1's.
So there's that.
Dak Prescott has been the most impressive so far, really in command of that offense.
Hasn't he been getting all the work with the 1's since OTA's? Not to take anything away from him but he's been getting more than most rooks
Still.. most people said he was going to be a project. Looks like he understands where each play is going to stress a defense. He's making good reads, good decisions & he's got a nice, fast release.
Impressive if you ask me.
So did I.I thought he would be good. I was impressed with what I saw of him last year and wanted the Texans to take him in round 2 before the signed Os
Thing is we most likely won't see a lot of either of them in P/S game 3. That's when "conventional wisdom" sez you play your starters for most of the game. And Romo is still the Cowboys' starter until he gets hurt again. And it looks like Case Keenum's starters job is safe for the time being.
Now and the next game is when you get a good look at the 2's.
P/S game four is mainly for all the bubble guys.
With that kind of thinking, we shouldn't play our first team at all in the preseason.
Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora
Tom Brady's agent, Don Yee, on report Brady cut his thumb w/scissors before game: "An accident occurred and Tom will be okay in time."
Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora
One Pats source said at this point no timetable for Brady return but did not believe the cut would require hospitalization
Bryan Hoyer's first throw against the Patriots is picked off.
And he's rocking a 34.4 QB rating. That's about double what he had in the KC game. Dude's on fire.
On another note, there's another former Texan QB who is 18-27, 66.7%, 257 yards, 9.5 Y/A, 0 TD, 0 INT, and a 97.3 QBr after 2 PS games.
Bolded is key
I like Dak. Arian isn't having a good outing yet.
Arian finished his debut coming back from his Achilles with 2 carries.............for -5yds.......I like Dak. Arian isn't having a good outing yet.
I like Dak too, guy can ball!
Played a heck of a game today. His legend surely grew. He plays like he has something to prove. Probably didn't like being called a project throughout the draft process.
Both TEN and OAK looking pretty good so far. That's 3 games for the Texans this season.
I love how Teddy Bridgewater has developed. Exactly what I thought he could be. What could have been.
I notice he's still patting the ball.
Well, I only started really watching football in the 90s, so yeah... maybe some of that. I honestly thought they started in St. Louis & moved to LA, then back. Never cared enough to verify.
I assume you never watched the Oilers either?
