I would love to get Braxton Miller as our slot wr and punt returner. Braxton could be there in 2nd round or be a trade up in 3rd round.
Was a good read. What was even better was the guy who commented that he could be Cushings replacement
I like Miller and unfortunately he's moved up into the 3nd-3rd rd range. He could be BOB/Godsey's Edelman.
I like Pharoh Cooper more as a slot/PR guy.
Also checkout Daniel Braverman as a slot/PR guy, he looks alot like Amendola to me.
Ted Hendricks???I'm not sure I get Oakman at MLB. You really believe this?
Wed. Jan. 27 2:30-4:30 p.m. South practice ESPNU and/or ESPN3
Ted Hendricks???
In speaking with sources, the Texans plan on being active in free agency. Last year wide receivers Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts signed one-year contracts, so replacing them with some speed complements for DeAndre Hopkins could be one direction they go. Other areas that Houston could definitely address would be a veteran quarterback, running back, tight end, and offensive line help. Really all positions on the offense are potential options for the Texans looking to improve.

The fact that Shorts signed a two year deal and is under contract for 2016 makes me a bit skeptical as it relates to those sources.
No issue with that - just questioning the fact the "sources" didn't have the right information.Costs the Texans 500k to cut him an save 2.9 million vs the cap. If they find something better hes gone. I swear he couldnt stay healthy

heard Brandon Allen appeared in over his head as wellCarson Wentz not only showing he can play with the big boys, he's also gone to the head of his class. On the other hand Jeff Driskel is showing why he's at La Tech and not Florida and Kessler is showing why he's still a day 3 guy.

People are sleeping on Spriggs. That guy is a first round OT. I bet he's the first off the board after Tunsil and Stanley.
Yes, agree that's my understanding also. Lacking in atta boys compared to others.heard Brandon Allen appeared in over his head as well
2016 Senior Bowl: Day Three Practice Recap
http://draftbreakdown.com/2016-senior-bowl-practice-recap-day-three/
I know a lot of people like that site but pretty much everything that comes from Walter Football can be dismissed outright.
Not sure why Mayock keeps saying Coker isn't very athletic. He's been saying that all week. He's not Wentz but he can move for a big guy.
Dak has looked good
I can't get over how much Wentz looks like Gronk.
Mickens needs to get above 175 pounds unless you just want him for returns. Are you familiar with Charon Peake from Clemson? 6'2 210 and supposedly running sub 4.4 (hand held) in 2012 and again 2015. Pretty good avg per catch & supposedly (there's that word again) beat Sammy Watkins. We have done well in the Clemson WR pool so far.Really like both Cooper and Shepard but both will be gone early.
I like Braverman, but if you're looking for a sleeper, keep your eye on Jaydon Mickens from Washington.
Also, Demarcus Ayers and Bralon Addison are both developmental guys who could contribute as return guys early in their careers.
Rough day so far for OT's. Clark, Drango, and Murphy are all getting smoked in pass pro.
Dak Prescott because he threw a TD pass that was by all accounts a poor pass thrown behind the WR. By my accounts your Temple LB was my MVP, he was all over the field constantly making tackles.Who was the games MVP?
Most are turned off by him because he's not the fastest, but just as yesterday and his college tape shows, he's in on most plays/tacklesDak Prescott because he threw a TD pass that was by all accounts a poor pass thrown behind the WR. First let me say I understand it's an All Star game, players had 2 days of practice, QBs and WRs are the most disadvantaged and the players are trying hard to make a play to get noticed. However I saw something this week that makes me think I need to reevaluate my first mock and Jake Coker. When compared against Wentz, if Wentz operates at 100 MPH, Coker operates 80 MPH. While Wentz is quick and decisive in his decision making, Coker comes off a bit slow and methodical in his. Wentz passes are crisp and anticipatory, Coker waits for a sure thing. I'm sure he has that Saban thing going on in his head, turnovers are a no no, which is counter productive to making an NFL anticipatory throw.
Coker's lack of starts (only 14) showed at the Senior Bowl. Coker needs to spend time with Tom House or George Whitfield to get his his head right for the NFL. I noticed Coker displayed a case a happy feet yesterday, not a good sign for me, shows indecisiveness (also understand he was trying to make a play in a All Star game). I understand how at times his play can be frustrating for his coaches. On the other side, in the end, when you looked up at the scoreboard it said Coker 10, Wentz 0. Coker did convert two 3rd downs, ran for one and engineered two scoring drives in his first two possessions. Most likely I will be dropping Coker to a 3rd RD draft pick because now I'm not quite as sure how his mindset will transfer to the NFL. Because of that uncertainty for me, it knocks Coker out of RD 1 in my mock.
I don't think Mannion was as good a QB as Coker after only 14 starts. I don't think Mannion is as a good a QB after 43 college starts, way to many INTs for me.just reminds me of a slightly more athletic Sean Mannion...not a case of reads/intelligence IMO more a case of having a passive personality
have him ranked a late 2nd/3rd. Honestly liked Mannion more as a prospect but Coker's ability to run will likely get him drafted higher
