The Baltimore Ravens control their playoff fate with the regular season winding down.

Baltimore (9-5) is tied with AFC North rival Pittsburgh atop the wild-card standings, though the Ravens currently own the second spot due to a worse division record. Both teams are also one-half game behind Cincinnati for the North lead.

The Texans (7-7) had won two in a row before losing two quarterbacks in last Sunday's 17-10 defeat at Indianapolis. Ryan Fitzpatrick was carted off with a broken leg in the second quarter, and rookie Tom Savage suffered a knee injury.

While Houston left the door open for Savage to return in Week 17, he's been ruled out against the Ravens.

Ryan Mallett, who had taken over for a benched Fitzpatrick in Weeks 11 and 12, is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

What I Want To See:

  • Run the rock. Arian and Blue need to be BIG time today.
  • Protect...whoever is under center. Last thing we need is more injuries at QB and/or beat and battered.
  • Going to see a lot of things you're used to; get ready!
  • WIN AND GET HELP! Go Texans and everyone who needs to beat teams we need to see LOSE!

Last two to go, folks! Welcome back from that 6 day bye, and it's time to get back to work. Now, it's obvious that making the playoffs look slim-to-none at best, but it doesn't hurt to take a shot at making it. That starts with winning this week vs. an old friend. Let's get this W, go to 8-7, and see if we can get some help today. LET'S MUTHA****IN' GO, TEXANS!

Don't think we're going to make the playoffs but that doesn't stop me from wanting to beat the **** out of Baltimore, who I've come to hate in recent years for various reasons.

I'm with ya. Baltimore is what Buffalo was to the Oilers back in the day. They are not on our division, but we always play tough crazy games against them where something ******ed up happens. :inneganned:

I have to say I am rooting for Keenum to finally get a win. This is a true Cinderella story now, and I hope he plays well. I think this will be a chippy game. Let's hope Keenum can just get rid of the ball quick and not pull any 20 yard sacks. Arian needs to have a HUGE game, and he usually does against the Ravens.

GO TEXANS!

Yall beat us in the playoffs once, have a few of our ex players and a certain ex coach. Whatever. Generally it's in vogue to hate whoever you're playing on Sunday anyway.

I don't usually use the word hate- dislike is my choice, but to each his own....

Kub's doesn't hold a grudge, Jacoby is too dumb t be thinking this way, Daniel's doesn't seem to have a vengeful attitude....

I think the Raven's are focused on making the playoffs

If you weren't bragging about your metrosexual warm hands maybe we'd like you more.

Keenum plays the role of Edgar Allen Poe and adds a few more lines of whoop a** to the Raven.

Matrix has a lot of hate built up over the yrs.

Don't worry about him.

Today is a playoff elimination game.

Hate?

various reasons?

Please expound....
Don't get him started, please.

So Dallas wants to watch this game? After ignoring the Texans all season? When we're out of the playoffs, down to our 4th string QB, and underdogs at home?

Figures. Hate? I hate Dallas.

To honest, the name has nothing to do with my hands being warm or being a metrosexual, which I am not (NTATWWT!)....it has to do with me being German, 1st generation America, and an old childhood friend not being to pronounce my name properly....it always came out as 'handswarmer'

but don't let me ruin your fantasy for you....HA HA HA HA HA HA

I have no love for Dallas- Jerruh Jones the genius owner but idiot GM, Blomo the Choker-INT machine....etc....

I dislike all things Dallas
