I am not aware that coaches pick players. I am sure that on many successful teams the coaches don't pick players. Nobody knows who picks players on texans. Maybe by design so no responsibilityHow is this Smith's fault when the coaches pick the players??
Trade for Mallet.
Trade for Mallet.
yes Im serious.
We've had this discussion more times than I can count. Smith's job is to draft the players the coaches say will work in their schemes. The coaches identify the players they want, Smith's job is to make sure they get the guys they point out. That's the way it works over on Kirby. The GM is in charge of acquiring talent. The coaching staff is in charge of developing talent. Can't blame the new coaching staff because they just got here. Smith's draft history the last few years is not very good and his FA acquisitions have been spotty at best.

...and yet I can't look awayFreakin' embarrassing!!
Suck for the duck
And Uncle Bob (McNair) won't fire Rick Smith this season. But if I were he, I'd be looking for a up-and-coming Ozzie Smith type guy."That's the way it works on Kirby"

No joke. Dude damn near stepped on the end line. The up guy should have told him not to bring it out.The Texans still need a kick returner with at least half a brain.
I see your icing and raise you a safety. And there's the icing on the turd cake.
Yes, that's better#Marchformariotta

It's called killer instinct. Get 'em down and stomp on their bleeding, dying carcass.1:30 left in a preseason game, up by 30, and you blitz?

Wait, we weren't Astros bad last year?
The Texans winning percentage last year was .125. The Astros were .315. The question ought to be will the Texans be as GOOD as the Astros?

It's a foreign concept for this franchise so I can see why you're confused
