I am not aware that coaches pick players. I am sure that on many successful teams the coaches don't pick players. Nobody knows who picks players on texans. Maybe by design so no responsibility
 
Our defense cannot get off the field, Case got 2-3 possessions
and Savage has had only 1 -- and there's 4 minutes left in the game.

I think this is going to be a "pepto season" for me..

We've had this discussion more times than I can count. Smith's job is to draft the players the coaches say will work in their schemes. The coaches identify the players they want, Smith's job is to make sure they get the guys they point out. That's the way it works over on Kirby.

Ahahahahaha sad yet glad to say I turned this **** off mid first quarter and started playing 360 have just checked in now and then on the iPad....saved myself some blood pressure issues it seems. Who woulda thunk it!?!?!??!?!?!?! A shitty 2 and 14 team with no qb? Queue the Benny hill music.....
 
One things for sure, Brandon Harris, Dan Kupper and Josh Victorian must be cut. Each of those guys had 2 penalties a piece.

Beyond guessing is there anything to confirm this? How hard is it to turn in an envelope? If that is all Smith does why is he the GM and not an errand boy. He seems to be the Teflon Don who deflects blame like a HOfer.
 
So at this point do we stop having lineman field punts to end practice early? Until they at least show something in a preseason game they probably don't deserve time off
 
Tonight's game was pathetic. I sure as hell hope they improve. Tonight was just horrible, even for preseason it was bad.

I think coaches are telling ST to return everything. Why take a kneel? Trying to evaluate players... and can't evaluate players when they're taking a touchback.

Dont know why so many people are down, ALL i saw was some vanilla offense and defense. Hell i didnt even see a blitz until the 4th quarter. While on the other hand it seemed that Arizona was using their entire playbook.

It is pre season no need to panic people.

ALTHOUGH i will say Fitzmagic looked worse than i thought he would. Keenum looked way better in his short time he got to play.
