Was wondering if this gameday thread was ever going to get started. I know we were 2-14 last season but geeez ;)

Really pumped, not really because it is pre season but because with every pre season game we play it means we are one game closer to Regular seasons kick off.

Just glad football is back !!!!

The last defensive player we drafted that I was this excited about was Lamar Lathon. Kearse was up there as well. But Neither had me as anxious as Clowney. I would have to say this a the most excited I've been about a debut since Earl.

You see Bortles last night ? He was 7-11 for 111 yards and lit up the backups . We screwed up big time and missed out on the greatest QB prospect since Johnny Football . :fingergun:
 
Man, talk about a conflict. Johnny Football is probably going to come on for his first series just as the Texans game is starting.
 
No more Joel Meyers. Kevin Kugler is the new play by play guy. This has got to be a good thing.
 
Hard to fap to a 2 14 team that barely has a qb a new coach and players who you have to pray can stay healthy. Hate to be negative guess i need to drink more and find those glasses.

A lot of linebackers look lost. It's expected in a new scheme. But what worries me is that starters like Cushing and Nix aren't out there learning it. Their learning curve will come during the regular season.

It's a new skill he's going to have to learn, he's probably just as fast as any of them not named Gronk/Graham/Davis, so he should get better.

In the regular season I doubt he'll be used in coverage as much as he has tonight. This is just preseason, just getting stuff on tape.
 
Other than Watt, Clowney, and Swearinger we just look like a bunch of average Joes threw on football pads.
