Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. 12/5. 7:25. NFLN. **Official Game Thread**

Totally forgot, i was gonna make it a point to watch him and see what SOME are all hyped about

Im no scout but ill throw my opinion out there based on the 4th quarter

GO texans!!

Take clowney and sign cutler

CUTLER?!?! haha. Holy **** put down the crack pipe.

They had a good lead and went flat -- that's how UCF got back in the
game.

UCF isn't that good either. UH with a true freshman QB had 1st and
goal to win the game in the final minute against UCF in florida

Not sure why you say this. He led a TD drive in the 4th quarter to take the lead with 3 minutes left. UCF went down and scored to take the lead with 23 seconds left. Not much he could do at that point.

And I'm not absolving him of the last few weeks. He hasn't played close to #1 overall caliber. Just thought that was an odd comment to make considering they took the lead late in the game.

Wouldn't most good coaches bench a player who is pulling these stunts DJ is pulling?

Kubiak won't. Belichick has a RB who fumbled hold a ball in street clothes all game long and probably embarrasses the **** out of him. Kubiak is probably in the locker room trying to get this dipstick a refill on his juice box.

When they showed him "kind of" yelling at Swearinger on the sidelines I thought for just a second that I'd see Kubiak show evidence of actually owning a sack with something in it but then he shut up and went all Dom Capers Confused Face" and I realized he didn't have it in him. We should have been able to clearly lip-read him literally screaming something roughly equal to "GET THE **** OFF OF MY OBSTACLE PRIVATE PYLE!" but no. Not Gary.

He's an upgrade... and the only reason i would say that is to be able to take clowney and fix the qb position

i thought keenum was doing a decent job and could be the guy but his throws are all over the place tonight, the simple throws aren't even there

The biggest headscratcher of this season is how the Texans
play teams like KC, Indy, and NE tight the entire game --
then stink to high-heaven against teams like Oakland and
Jacksonville.

I just don't get it. How in the hell does that happen?

It has to be mental -- they play loose against teams they are
supposed to lose to and play as tight as a nun's c*nt against
the teams they should beat.

Of course it's mental. It's playing up or down to your competition. It's an inability to maintain a consistent focus on your goal which is really odd since this coaching staff seems to place so much emphasis on consistency and staying on course. I think it's a clear sign they aren't at all on the same page as the players they're trying to prepare.

I watched the game and they did go flat, but at the time I wasn't thinking that it had to do a lot with Bridgewater. Strong sat on the lead because they were up 28-7 in the 3rd quarter. He's done that a lot this year.

Man, they are letting JVille play. That last guy jumped into the pile 2 seconds after the whistle...

We fart, and it's a flag

I give the odds, or in this case percentage, of a 5% chance we hear Kubes is gone by lunchtime tomorrow.

That's low, but up from 0% chance an hour an a half ago.

It's been like that since Keenum started against Kansas. We seem to not get any pass interference or roughing the passer like other teams do.

He said kmart is a capable return man...just hasn't had a chance. They don't scout the players before they broadcast do they?

Dude this is against a high school team parading as a college team. IT IS CINCINNATI!

I guess we should ignore his supporting cast at the same time.....

I realize he doesn't play top competition, but he's not exactly surrounded by great players either. He has 2 starting OL out tonight and has been under heavy pressure on almost every snap.

Has he struggled? Absolutely. Has he played like a #1 pick? Not at all. But I really hate when people throw out the "competition" blanket statement and don't actually watch the games.
