I said last week that the only time we ever see a draw play is 3rd and forever, when the other team knows that's what's going to be run. They never run it when the other team might actually be blitzing. And I can't remember the last time we saw a HB screen play.

Don't think they know any blitz beater plays.

He didn't even have time to throw it away. That play was an example of when it occasionally *is* the best decision to just immediately flop to the ground.
 
Not sure why teams don't all out blitz more often. Case isn't good at pre-determined hot reads. Likes to extend and improvise instead.

yup where schaub excels would have only been a 6 yard loss with matt. but we would be down right now 32-3..
 
doesn't matter who the qb is. this team has way more flaws than just the qb. (which is what i've been trying to say the past year)
 
I'm done. I've got a paper needs doing. Even if we win I'm still insanely pissed at the O-line play. Hope we pull this one out.

We are missing Kubiak's playcalling.

And I don't know what Wade is doing with the defense,but it's awful.
 
I'm sorry Case Keenum or no Case Keenum, I can't get excited about this franchise anymore. It has ruined my fandom. Maybe if there is a regime change but right now I feel so defeated.
 
This is a coaching staff which has NO answer to the defensive adjustments the opponent makes at halftime. Then the offense three-and-outs all second half, and at some point the defense is so tired that it just gets its ass handed to them in the fourth quarter.

The O-line may suck, but when you consistently play reasonably well in the first half and get outscored 107-19 in the second half in the last 6+ games, it's all about coaching and lack of proper adjustment.

PS -- McCain sucks.
 
Texans blitz NEVER gets home. Worst fkn blitzers ever. And I'd say stop blitzing, but then the QB would just pick them apart on the back end anyway, because the secondary sucks also.
