Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars. 11/27. 12 CT. CBS. **Official GameDay Thread**

I know for a fact that Clemens is inactive.

I know that OD used to be our emergency QB in previous years, not sure he is anymore, but don't see why that would have changed.

Unofficial word per a media tweet that it was heard in Jacksonville media room that its a broken collarbone.

NOT OFFICIAL - talk in the Jax Media Room is broken collerbone for #Texans Matt Lienart, our guys working to confirm the talk...

OD has always been the emergency QB

Kubiak just said it on 610.

Exact quote: "It's not good."

:voodoo:

:overreact:

Well the UK studio team (who analyse every time the US goes to a commercial break as they're only allowed like 12 mins of commercials per hour over here) just mentioned Brett Favre's name.

I take it Leinart is out for the season IF it is a broken collarbone?

Yep so am I. The Jags top two corners are sitting on I.R. and Leinart couldn't even get Andre one single catch. I'm already done with him.

Let's see what this kid can do....Like Schaub did at Virginia. Yates also ran our system in college for 4 years. It's why we drafted him.

I'm down with that....but answer me this:

WHAT DO WE DO IF TJ YATES GETS HURT?!?!?!?!?

I don't know how much more this Texans team can take.

At some point, the weird injuries to key players has to take its toll. At some point, you have to just assume that it's all too much to overcome in the long run.

If not, if we continue to find ways to win, this team deserves a Super Bowl win. I mean, this is just bizarre.

I blame DaleMurphy, it was him who posted a list of all players that this team could lose to injury that would hurt it more than Mario going down when he did, pretty sure the football gods have been checking them off one by one ever since.

Is this a situation of Matt1 and Matt2 being a bit larger in frame, a bit slower on their footwork and in their release of the ball...that they are just going to run the risk of getting hammered at some point?

You look at a guy like TJ Yates. He is fast on his feet, quick to get out of the way of guys, and has a laser-like release.

Is a guy like TJ Yates maybe not as prone to getting hurt as Matt1 and Matt2?

I'm searching for any shred of positive news to think upon here. Help me out.

LOL, that's what I was thinking.

We r winning....that's all I got

I think we're better off with Yates, after having seen him a bit today, but the fact remains that we're a TJ Yates injury away from having OD as our QB for the rest of the day...and Kellen Clemens starting next week.

if Yates stays upright, we'll be OK. I have faith that he knows what the hell he's doing and can get the ball to the right guy.

Well at least we didn't use a 1st rounder on Gabbert!!!!!

Yates>Gabbert????

Jags still have a good D even though thier secondary is desimated, so maybe we can take that away as a positive.
