The D has got tired and is being abused right now.

The O has lost momentum and is offerring up 3 & outs, classic Kubiak.
 
Need a turnover or doesn't look good for rest of game. Momentum has shifted. Matt still has an interception in him.

Gary chewed out the Offense. Time for Wade to chew out the D. The whole team is looking sluggish and needs a kick in the arse. We have this if we can just keep it together. GO TEXANS. :fans:

I saw that, I also saw the Steelers move the ball on our D really easily on this drive. I also saw the O come out from 1/2 time without any motivation.
 
The defense will continue to improve but this is why I wasn't excited about the move to bring Wade in and instead wanted Gary and his staff gone. Wade might bring a better defense but that's not the biggest problem the Texans have. That doesn't fix the lack of killer instinct and the mental weakness they display every week.
 
Steelers will kick a FG here, because they know they can own the 4th quarter against us. If they go for it and fail, the momentum shifts our way.

Heady teams like the Saints and Steelers know that the only team that can beat the Texans is the Texans.
 
Tough to play offense without our best player or any real backup RB.

Walter and Jacoby MUST step up. Where's Bryant Johnson? Use Arian and Casey in screen game. Get OD re-involved.

Plenty of teams can beat us, we just beat them to it.
 
It isn't the D people. Pitt has 7 points going into the 4th Q

It's the pathetic choke-time offense we run. Kubiak
drops into fear-boner mode when the game is on the
line and so does Schaub.

They play afraid, with the LEAD, on offense.

Unfortunately I'm coming around to the same point of view. Kubiak is a great O-coord, and his player coaching is excellent on that side of the ball, but the whole demeanor of the team seems to be soft under him.

We make a game out of it even when we should be miles out in front.

Walter and Jacoby are borderline useless. They disappear against good defenses.
 
I mean, this is so funny.

We had been curb stomping the Steelers in all facets of football, and this game is TIED right now. With one quarter of football to play.
 
Dreesen continues to block people in the back. He did it 2 or 3 times on that kickoff return. Yank his azz.
