Game Day Texans at Redskins

Ha ha ha.... The entire South today might lose...and the Colts will probably win, thus already making up the 1 game that they fell behind.
 
Down 20-7 at the half.

Yeah... I can't think of any positives.

ST - hesitant or running out at the one
Offense.... well, when we run it's decent. Minimal pass protection
Defense.... minimal pressue and secondary getting burned.
 
Texans playing cute offense, and as we saw with the Coogs last night,
cute offenses can't stand physicality. I COMPLETELY disagree with
Kubiak's offensive philosophy to start the game.

Arian Foster dominated last week, start the game using him as a decoy.
Andre Johnson has a big week, use him as a decoy the next. Get your
BEST WEAPONS the FREAKING BALL.
 
So far, for the first half of the game, it's a classic Texans choke after a big game win. Hopefully they get up to form in the second half.
 
meh. we get the ball to start the second half. weve played fairly shite but should still be within a score if we start to use foster more
 
I am just baffled on why we have been "cute" with our playcalling in the first half


meaning I am bewildered on how physical were were last week and just pounded the ball and for some reason we decide that we need to change the formula for the redskins
 
I really wonder if their secondary is that good or is Schaub just not pulling the trigger sooner. Either way, we need to come out running in the 2nd half until we can jump start the passing game.

Our pass rush has to show up. McNabb is too good to him more than 3 seconds to throw the ball.

That's what I think is going on...

Their coaching staff had their team more prepared.......their defense knows everything we're going to run.....the reason why I think Schaub is eating the ball is because our receivers are probably covered down field. It's almost like they're in our huddle.

While on the flip side......our defense is acting like they've never seen these plays before.
 
Don't know what Kubiak can possibly say, but he needs to figure it out, and get this game under control. This isn't nothing new, we've gone down by 13 before, to come back & lose the game on the last play.

This time, they need to find a way, to pull out a win.
 
The Texans need a BIG TIME halftime adjustment here unless they want their butts kicked by a team they should beat.

The Cowpies suck. The Iggles almost let the Lions steal one today. The Giants beat the Panthers last week but then the Panthers lost to Tampa Bay today so is that a "quality win"?

I totally can see the 'Skins taking their division this year.

Defense... uhm... I kinda feel bad for #25 Jackson, no help, left to fend off a barrage of Mcnabb passes. No pressure at all, yet no pass defense, I wonder if we're defending against the run with 8-9 players... sure feels like it.

i think it had to do with the 'boys torching the skins last week but not running it. i think we'll change it up & run it now that the passing game isnt going so good
 
I just knew last week was too good to be true. How dare the Texans be able to play consistent football!

If Matt wasn't eating balls, & getting it out late, I would think that was the case. But our guys are getting open, & having to wait on the ball.
 
We have the ball to start the 2nd half. A TD here and we're back in it.
We need to keep running it. Send some guys after McNabb and we can be back in the game.
