They should go mental right back. The failures start at with Rick Smith and the crappy players he has brought in and goes to Kubiak and his inability to gameplan. Right now the cheerleaders are the only positive thing for Houston.
 
All I know is Monday morning my A$$ still has to get up and go to work.

The Texans better get their damn act togeather real quick, or they'll be looking at a 3-6 record during their bye week. Right now I'm see the Bills as the only team we can beat during this streatch.
 
Hopfully we will go with the QB Kneel offense next half. It should do a better job of keeping the Cardinals offense on the sidelines.

The offense needs to try something different...running to the outside with Slaton was working then they just stopped all the sudden and this was when they were only down by 7.

Face it folks......Houston is lucky they had two of the worst teams in the NFL to start the year out against. You're about to see the real Texans over the next 5 games. Defense is getting better against the run, but we can't even push dlines off the line of scrimmage when we run the ball.

Kubiak is the one who installed this shitty outdated ZBS that gets blown consistently off the damn ball. We're too light up the middle.....it's sad, because on that 3rd and 1, I told myself "If they run it here they might get the punting team ready.

They CAN'T RUN THE BALL. If you don't play good defense and if you CAN'T run the ball.......YOU WILL NOT WIN ON THE ROAD IN THE NFL. (that Tenn game was a fluke....that almost NEVER happens.) Your offense can have bad days when on the road, that's why teams with good defenses and running games are also good road teams. Our offense has to put up 30 points every week just to have a chance to win a damn game.
 
As I've said for a season and a quarter now, Slaton is NOT "the guy" for this offense. He's a third down back, nothing more. Kubiak needs to bench him in the second half.
 
Seriously feeling like sunday is the worst day of the week, i look forward to game day its the highlight of my sunday evening.

The only good thing about sucking is it will bring change. Hopefully this time around we pick the right coach. Although im not holding my breath.
 
I have an idea, lets let the worst QB under pressure sit back and face a four man stunting pass rush...thats awesome.

I was thinking the exact same thing, our interior linemen are getting zero push, run the ball on sweeps, get a little creative!
 
I dont understand why everyone is bitching. Did yall expect the Texans defense to suddenly learn how to play team defense against a team with Warner, Fitz, Boldin, Urban and a a slew of other players?

Plus their defense is really what got them to the playoffs last year.

I predicted 45-13 and its coming a reality. The Texans were not ready to play today. So toss another loss on Kubiak and the coaching staff.

Well, the pathetic coach we have insists on trying to run the ball up the middle. This coming despite the fact that we have no interior linemen that can create a hole. But...these guys don't care. Even the coaches get to keep all their money even if they get fired. Someone will recycle them so they'll get another nice paycheck. This sucks.
 
I don't know why, but schaub started the game with a fumble and was missing wide open players. Not to mention, his pass looks flat. The positive is arizona can't run the clock out.

I expected the defense to suck. But not the offense.
 
Defense has done better than the offense, they gave the offense numerous tries to tie up the game. Of course our Defense isn't going to hold up that long though...

No but we certainly expected them to at least play some offense.

They are never ready to play. After the game the piece of crap coach will say it's on him. He didn't get them ready. Well, you know what. You never do. You are clueless. You rode Elway's coattails to a couple of rings. Hell, give Bruce Matthews the job. At least he could start in the NFL. You look at all the bad QBs in the league starting right now (today we have one of our own) and you realize that Aggie couldn't even start over one of them.
 
I can't help but think that this would be a very different game if we converted on that 3rd and one and keep the drive alive. That hurt.

I've been one of Slaton's biggest critics, but even I've come to the realization that it's not just him. This Oline doesn't open up any running lanes. Slaton has to run around defenders before he even gets to the line of scrimmage. The Oline is WAY too soft up front and they don't have enough sand in their pants.

I'm tired of the ZBS......that's something else that needs to be changed during the offseason. I mean if you want to build a line that has some ZBS principles fine do that, but don't build a line that's solely built on the ZBS. Our Oline sucks this year.
 
The sad thing is, is we've got good players on this team. There is no reason we should be sucking this bad. I'm about ready to join the Fire Kubiac club, but I'm holding out hope he can still pull this season out. Don't know how, though.

Run up the middle my ass...rushing yards are rushing yard for ffs! The outside yards are just as good as the middle ones and guess what...the outside yards were working. Coaches....come on you idiots.

Once they give Kubiak his walking papers Gibbs will leave with this ZBS waste of time blocking system. Yeah it worked 10 years ago. Times have changed. Defenses have adapted. Unfortunately this coaching staff doesn't have the ability to adapt.
 
Alright, there is a lot of anger going on, but this is not dead yet. We were being written off at 7-0 before the fumble!

We need the offense to step up firstly. We've been hitting a few passes, Slaton was running well early on, but we've gotta get these 3rd down calls right. These are falling on the playcalling mostly. The 3rd and 1 was just pure crap. Running Slaton into a big body of players is just plain wacky....may as well send Jacoby running and try and hit him long, for the chances of it actually coming off.

As for the defense, they are playing pretty nicely. We're up against a damned good pass offense. Their run however, since the first drive has been getting nothing. We've crowded their running lanes, and forced them to throw, which in the long term hasn't helped, but the D has been being some good things.

Early turnover here helps.
