well, i said i was suprised it was still only 7-0, that pick gives minnesota too much field position now!! what a crap game so far and a bigus call just now for roughing the passer.....BFS

Well I think that attitude is more directed towards Dunta who is not here. I think most posters want Meco at a price that is good to the organization and him.
 
Is there a web site where you can bet on draft picks? What are the odds we draft a QB next year? I'd bet alot of money on that...

Nope. OD and Demeco got the sane knee jerk reaction. Cut 'em all - they can be replaced in the draft. I thought that wasn't very bright then. Still don't.

IIRC, I said here's my thoughts:

1. DeMeco is worth the most out of the three guys asking for better deals.

2. Owen is next.

3. Dunta is so far behind it's not even funny

And this is based on future ramifications of cap space and dead money, not on whether a guy is neat-o and cool and should get a fat payday because he's still here.

I think a lot of people feel this way, too.

(this is the part where I get to learn a new word or phrase that I'll have to look up at dictionary.com)

We may be on to our best defense in years.
 
Two great plays by Adibi. Pressure that they called roughing on, and that break up. Nice work by him on 3rd down. 3rd down defense is key.

Good stop by the D there after a bad call puts the Vikes on the 10 yard line.
 
I will give the defense props right now.. offense is NOT helping on them ...
