Well I will have official times on here posted later but here are some unofficial 40 times and various other workout results:
DE Neefy Moffett - unofficial 4.70
S Roger Williams (was a senior the year before this past season) - unofficial 4.8
CB Michael Ray Garvin - unofficial times of 4.22 and 4.29. I wouldn't be surprised if these times are close because Garvin is an All-American track star. They switched directions so the 4.22 might be with the wind and 4.29 might be against it. From what I can tell when I walk outside there isn't much wind though. This guy was the best kick returner per return last year in the NCAA. Very fast.
WR De'Cody Fagg (was a senior the year before this past season but had a severe injury going into the combine last year) - unofficial 4.60
WR Greg Carr - unofficial 4.56
CB Tony Carter - unofficial 4.28, benched 17 times, also had a 39" vertical jump. 4 year starter at corner.
DT Paul Griffin - unofficial 4.97
S/LB Kenny Ingram (big 6'6 alternate who made some big plays but will probably go undrafted) - unofficial 4.56
MLB Derek Nicholson - unofficial 4.79 (This really hurts Derek. He was a good player here but he isn't really all that big and it looks like he didn't do too well in the 40.)
QB Xavier Lee (Big waste of talent who decided to leave early rather than switch to TE. I guess he still wants into the NFL) - unofficial 4.8
WLB Toddrick Verdell (safety moved to WLB. Played well in his only season last season.) - unofficial 4.64
S Roosevelt Lawson - unofficial 4.47. He was a backup his whole career at FSU, will probably go undrafted.
RB Antone Smith - unofficial 4.26. Finally showed why he was a 5 star recruit last year. He is very fast, could be a return guy in the NFL similiar to Leon Washington with less of an ability to play runningback than Leon.
Those not running: DE Everette Brown, K/P Graham Gano, SS Darius McClure.
The players I have bolded are players I think will be drafted.
These are all on a turf field from what I understand. It just started and stopped raining causing the workouts to stop and then start back up so it may be awhile before we get official times.
Some of you may say some of these times are too fast but I disagree. We had alot of speed last year. Guys like Garvin, Smith, and Carter are all small guys and show their speed when they play.
