Sexual Assault Suits Against Watson

She said about an hour into the massage, "his penis touched me more than a couple of times. He would keep instructing me to kind of get closer, stay within that pelvic area and that's pretty much where it went until he ejaculated."

She ended the session. He paid for the services and left according to Hayes, but kept contacting her for more massages.

"He continuously text with no reply until I guess he got the point."

The encounter, she says, haunts her.

"It stays with me every day. Every time I have- even my regulars that are men that are great clients of mine, I get flustered, I get nervous. I don't know what else could happen at the end of the service. I don't know if they are going to also try to sexually assault me."

It's interesting reading the perceptions of his girlfriend on this forum. When Watson's trade request went public, there were posts calling her a gold digger who wanted Watson to play in New York to advance her modeling career. She flipped off someone taking a picture of them and she was labelled classless. Now she is getting paid hush money and her moral character is no different from Watson.

In a couple of months, I wouldn't be surprise to read posts claiming she was supervising the massage therapists when they massaged Watson.

As my grandmother once told me,

You are who you hang with.

She did have a message for those that don’t believe her or the other women accusing Watson of sexual assault.

"Just take a step out of social media and to remind themselves you don't know these people in real life, and what they are capable of behind closed doors, and what actual victims are feeling or going through."

Hayes' civil lawsuit is still in litigation. We did reach out to Watson’s attorney and have yet to hear back

Mark Vandermeer spoke this morning about meeting Vernon Hargreaves dad one time like a teenage girl would talk to another teenager about meeting Justin Bieber, or whoever teenaged girls are crazy about these days. Even for an insufferable homer he’s annoying.
Couldn't agree more. As soon as I hear that guy's voice, I'm switching stations. I just can't take the over the top, fake enthusiastic voice.

Just saw this. Had to take what I could it's on a paid site. They only give a small amount to read free.
±±++++++++++++++++++++++++++
A settlement of the 22 pending lawsuits against Watson likely won’t matter, if a settlement happens in the near future. The criminal investigation has progressed to the point where, we’re told, Watson’s camp is bracing for an eventual grand jury proceeding. (No one knows when that will get started.) If/when Watson is indicted, he almost definitely will be placed on paid leave by the league.

Whether an earlier settlement could have avoided that possibility isn’t known. What’s known for now is that it’s currently unavoidable that a grand jury will hear the evidence and decide on whether certain charges should be formally made against Watson.

I posted this twice already lol

I posted cursorily in the past re. a new sexual offense law, unique to Texas alone. It went into effect only Sept. 2019. It opened up a brand new category of sex offense..............."indecent assault.":

As of September of 2019, Indecent Assault was codified at Section 22.012 of the Texas Penal Code.2 Subsection (a) describes the offense as:
A person commits an offense if, without the other person’s consent and with the intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person, the person:
(1) touches the anus, breast, or any part of the genitals of another person;
(2) touches another person with the anus, breast, or any part of the genitals of any person;
(3) exposes or attempts to expose another person’s genitals, pubic area, anus, buttocks, or female areola; or
(4) causes another person to contact the blood, seminal fluid, vaginal fluid, saliva, urine, or feces of any person.
It purposely requires much less to prosecute/convict. Conviction can lead to up to a $4000 fine and up to 1 year in jail.

...........and with 20+ potential cases?................

Of further interest:

What Offenses Require Sex Offender Registration in Texas?
The following offenses require registration as a sex offender in Texas.
Sexual Assault
Sexual Performance by a Child
Sexual Assault of a Child
Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child
Aggravated Sexual Assault
Indecency by Contact
Indecency by Exposure
Unlawful Restraint, Burglary, Kidnapping, or Aggravated Kidnapping for Sexual Purposes
Trafficking
Compelling Prostitution
Online Solicitation of a Minor
Attempt, Conspiracy, or Solicitation of these Offenses
Indecent Exposure – Repeat Offender
Child Pornography

Even with the lowly "indecent exposure," a single event is "excused." But any subsequent/multiple convictions lead to the requirement to register as a sex offender.

Culley has been hung out to dry by the Texans. In such a powder keg situation, what other NFL organization would have their rookie head coach answering and speaking to this crucial team circumstance.......instead of the GM or owner?? And we call the media pansies? They should all be wearing tutus.

My perspective is that as Coach (Culley), Watson is not a viable part of this football team and all those inquiries fall outside things happening on the field with personnel actually contributing.

I’d let the owner and GM answer that stuff too.

The GM and owner don’t get in front of a microphone every day. Culley does.

Keep giving them the canned answer and maybe they get the hint and stop asking. Yeah, I know, not a chance.

And then, what do you think will be different from the GM or owner? Same responses.

Yep. The answer would be the same.

Unfortunately they will continue to ask about Watson. Coach could give them the answer they want to hear and the very next interview would be centered around what’s going on with Watson.

This is my thing. I believe that if the media stopped making this a thing, it would stop being a thing. Yes we all know about the DW4 situation, but i don't give a rats ass about:

Him showing up to TC and basically standing around
Him "playing" scout team FS
Him laying on the training table

Everyone who has remotely followed this team knows his situation, knows that he's likely not going to be playing for ANYONE & know that nothing has really changed on the criminal/civil front of his cases. Asking a 1st year coach/GM a loaded questions like "what does having him here bring to the team?" is just a stupid question imo...especially when DW4 is doing nothing significant at Texans TC. But the houston media types think that by them not asking these questions they're not "doing their jobs" and are trying to come off as tough. Newsflash dickheads, Noone who is really interested in the team that's going to actually be on the field come opening day gives a rip about DW4 anymore and are over it. Report on those guys, not the guy who wont be here.

That may be. But it will take away the distraction that Cullen has to be feeling fielding those questions when trying to perform his own important duties. All the GM or owner needs to say is that no more questions will be entertained by Culley or anyone else regarding the Watson situation until there a significant change to report on.

But jackasses like Brian T. Smith will persist, interupt others and keep asking the same questions...Culley's a 1st year HC & usually shutting down reporters like that is reserved for the Saban's and Belichicks....I.e. good/great HC's. The Houston media just needs to move on, period.

McCain told Lopez and the other dude Culley and the Texans owe them answer to what’s going with them and Watson. So even if they do exactly what you suggest, these darn reporters believe they owe them a legitimate response to the Watson situation.

I feel sorry for what Culley is going to have to go through before he's fired.

At least he's getting paid.

Please don't let evidence of that leak out
Evidence of wah leadk out ? I'm privy to any of hese conversation

Oh I think he's having the time of his life, certainly his professional life, even with the annoyance of questions about Watson which to him is likely a small price, a very small price to pay for finally being an NFL coach.
I just hope the McNair family gives Culley atleast two full years as their HC.

The inherent problem with local sports media is that hardly anyone cares about the Houston Texans beyond the Watson story. They are a boring franchise in just about every way.

They have no other playmakers worth reporting on, Culley is clearly a yes-man placeholder and is really not that interesting, they are not going to be good in 2021, and those that have any answers with the organization won't answer questions beyond their corporate-newspeak non-answers.

Cant believe all this crap about DC. It’s bs, but this thing looks pretty simple to me. DC is at a press conference and, as usual, he gets asked about DW. He’s doing a good job of basically saying nothing has changed and moves on to the real questions about the team. Being at a PC hes not being distracted by other more important matters. Yeah those questions are bs but he’s doing a fine job. He’s gonna be OK.

Agreed,

Surely they will give Culley a couple of yrs.

I like the guy and especially some of the experienced coaches he's put on his staff. Plus a few young guys. It's a good mixture of assistant coaches. IMHO

I dont like the nepotism of Lovie's son being on the staff, but that hire probably had to happen to get Lovie to come on board.
