NFL Day 3: Rounds 4-7

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I actually don't know the guy. I just haven't booed any Texans picks yet. So here we go...

BOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

It's like the Yates pick they are backfilling needs before free agency hits, just strange this year they are in reverse order.

maybe they also expect Butler to leave via FA whenever it begins?

Its probably a concern and even if Butler stays they were probably looking for a developmental 4th tackle anyway. What was the name of that ex TE we had through camp last season that got signed by the Patriots?

Redskins - Maurice Hurt, OG, Florida
Packers - Ryan Taylor, TE, North Carolina
Patriots - Malcolm Williams, CB, TCU
Cowboys - Shaun Chapas, FB, Georgia
Giants - Da'Rel Scott, RB, Maryland
Bucs - Anthony Gaitor, CB, Florida International
Chiefs - Shane Bannon, RB, Yale
Redskins - Markus White, DE, Florida State
Ravens - Anthony Allen, RB, Georgia Tech
Saints - Greg Romeus, DE, Pitt
Jets - Scotty McKnight, WR, Colorado
Rams - Jabara Williams, OLB, Stephen F. Austin
Rams - Jonathan Nelson, CB, Oklahoma
Falcons - Cliff Matthews, DE, South Carolina

I really want to see Blanc go to the Texans, then when somebody asks him how it feels to be Mr. Irrelevant boom goes the hammer :shoot:

Steve Maneri? Don't know how to spell it, but something like that.

The girlfriend is making us go out to dinner in a half hour to 45 minutes. I will likely miss Mr. Irrelevant, so could someone else put up the question thread?

Here's my bet for Mr. Irrelevant:
Zac Pauga, FB, Colorado State

Anyone else want to make a prediction?

Eric Peitz, TE, Colorado State

Honestly, I have no idea. Hopefully it is someone exciting. Today was quite lackluster after the first 2 days. Not bad, but it did not live up to the prior excitement.

Cliff MAtthews (DE/OLB)
Deandre McDaniel (SS)
Deunta Williams (FS)
Jeremy Beal (LB)
Ian Williams (DT)

I´d be thrilled with either of them - each would be great value with the last pick in the draft. But I expect a player that noone is thinking about... or a TE. Or perhaps that punter Henry.

Edit: nevermind Matthews, the Falcons just picked him.

Dolphins - Frank Kearse, DT, Alabama A&M
Steelers - Baron Batch, RB, Texas Tech
Packers - Lawrence Guy, DT, Arizona State
Chargers - Andrew Gachkar, OLB, Missouri
Dolphins - Jimmy Wilson, CB Montana
Vikings - Stephen Burton, WR, West Texas A&M
Eagles - Greg Lloyd, DE, Connecticut
Bucs - Daniel Hardy, TE, Idaho
49ers - Mike Person, OT, Montana state
Eagles - Stanley Havili, FB, USC
Raiders - David Ausberry, WR, USC
Seahawks - Malcolm Smith, OLB, USC
Saints - Nate Bussey, OLB, Illinois
Panthers - Lee Ziemba, OT, Auburn
Bills - Michael Jasper, OG, Bethel
Bengals - Jay Finley, RB, Baylor
Broncos - Jeremy Beal, OLB, Oklahoma

Herzlich would be a feel good story (by the way, herzlich is the german word for umm... hearty/affectionate) - but I doubt he will be a player in this league. But what the hell, the last pick in the draft, I guess it would be worth a shot!

Browns - Eric Hagg, S, Nebraska
Cardinals - DeMarco Sampson, WR, San Diego State
49ers - Curtis Holcomb, CB, Florida A&M
Titans - Tommie Campbell, CB, California(PA)
Cowboys - Bill Nagy, C, Wisconsin
Redskins - Chris Neild, DT, West Virginia

Hehehe, GO BROWNS! :D

Maybe Hagg will be to Amukamara what Javier Arenas was to Kareem Jackson. The undervalued #2 CB outshining the #1 in the NFL :D

Not sure I would go that far but I think he can be a decent safety.

And by decent I mean better than anything the Texans have had in years.

This isn't a prediction but I'd sure like to see them find a place for Joe Lefedge. He's not shiney but he's damn sure a football player.
