I didn’t realize Aristotle was a communist.
I'm not sure what you're trying to say here.
I know what I meant just as those who believe that communism was wrong when it tried to use the ends to justify the means.
And history consistently shows that it doesn't work that way.
Communism wanted to do away with people owning properties for one.
It promoted common properties owned by the states on which the labors work and share the crop.
The problem is it doesn't account for people who work harder.
How many people want to work hard when they know they're going to get the same share as the slackers.
But the bigger problem with communism was that its land reform attempts killed a lot of people, many of them were innocent; most didn't deserve to die.
But communism said that the ends justify the means so they tried to argue that in order to achieve the final goal (the ends), some land owners had to be sacrificed (killed) since they own too much land that should have gone to the people.
I don't know how much you know about the Vietnam War, but this is a starter:
en.wikipedia.org
The number of casualties are highly disputable.
It would take a lot of explanation on my part to tell you about how bad it really was.
I will just tell you this.
A few years ago, Hanoi tried to have an exhibition on land reform.
It received so many negative comments from the people that the exhibit was shut down very shortly.
It was a big reason why there was a mass migration movement mostly in 1954 to the south; my parents were among those migrants.
My parents were willing to let the four of we siblings to go on our own to land unknown; my older sister was not quite 18 at the time.
....
I really have no idea why you would bring Aristotle into this.
