He also played his college ball in the minors (non power-5 at UofH) so how would he have done in the majors in the SEC or Big 10 ?
OK he has some similarities to Donald but that doesn't automatically make him a contender for being the next NFL defensive player of the year.
Now about the weight - he is smallish and if he's trimmed down to 281 for his PD then in a brutal 16-game NFL schedule he might drop to well under 280 and
that's just too small for an NFL DT.
I get why you would think this.
Dude is just a ballplayer who is fast enough to playn LB and strong enough to play DT. A very rare athlete that a good coaching staff will know how to use to make him a star level player.
