What’s really funny about this is we all know Howie jumped in front of Texans to get their LT of the future in Dillard but what’s not discussed that’s equally unsettling is before the Texans made their 2nd rd selection the Eagles nabbed Myles Sanders, RB Penn State 2nd Rb on my board in the draft. Reports are he is tearing it up in camp and already solidified as their starter.
So 3rd Rd was most realistic, highest graded, available draft slot to address RB and they went out and got a water polo player who just started playing football. Instead of the other Alabama Rb Damien Harris taken very next spick by New England.
Only thing I can think of was they didn’t want Belichick to get another big body TE (to replace Gronk) so bypassed need (RB) to collect another prospect in one of the deeper positions on this roster.
