FIRE O'BRIEN NOW!!!

The lack of talent is at specific positions , not roster wide …. The OL is full of duds and the corner spot has been thin since camp and got thinner when Kevin Johnson called it a career now KJax sits one out and they are playing guys who are fringe / end of the 53 guys ....

Other than those two position groups , I think they are better than average. Problem is , those two position groups are very important to the success of any team. Those positions are costing them W's … Just look at the last loss - strip sack cost them and the secondary couldn't cover.

The secondary when healthy was pretty darn good after the first three games.

As far the OL I believe they have the talent there but the scheme is this main issue. Plus it hard to run what Obrien wants when you have 3-4 new linemen every year starting. There are other reasons as well.

Good thing is with Gaine here we're going to find out the truth.

I've been consistent in my beliefs since 2010. You've disagreed since then. Maybe just maybe the reason BOB hasn't gotten the guys he wanted is because of organizational dysfunction? Another thing many here were denying for yrs.

The truth . Bwhahaha man you're a trip.

And maybe OB hasn't known just what he wanted? As n OL coaches and player types?

I think this has to be close to the truth. No one knows what kind of offense Bill O'Brien wants to run. Not even Bill O'Brien. I believe He's trying to figure that out. I'm hoping DeShaun Watson is that huge piece of the puzzle that will help him figure it out so we can move forward as an organization.

One thing for sure, the team plays hard for him.

I question his decision to keep the starters in so long. Question even more his play calling late in game getting Watson hit.

But hey, 11-5 and a division win is nothing to sneeze at.

Still haven’t got the TEs in the game

I don’t know exactly how many 2 TE sets they ran but twice I saw one stay in for PP and the other is covered up so unless our OL can turn into studs I’m not expecting much from our TEs this year

Which would be "fine" if we were 5 weeks into his career.

We're 5 years into his career.

Congratulations to Bill O'Brien for winning the AFC South, going 11-5, and turning the team around after an 0-3 start. Many of us still see areas you can improve, but hats off for a good and entertaining regular season.

Remember when Kubiak got his extension? There was an argument to be made that he had what it takes to be a good HC, just needed more time to learn from his mistakes. He needed a DC.

However it wasn’t the play calling that did Kubiak in. He lost the locker room. It is almost the exact opposite for OB. He has the locker room, but his play calling just sucks.

Do us all a favor OB - get a better OC.

Bill O'Brien would be a good head coach if he never made any decisions about anything that happens on the field, off the field, or related to personnel.

If he was relegated to pre/postgame hype man like Ric Flair sometimes is and only that, he might be a good head coach.

The players wouldn't have to fight and grind games out for him nearly as hard or as frequently if he put them in a better position with his decisions.

Lol I still think he can be serviceable as a HC. I don’t like his style but the team clearly does. He just needs to hire an offensive coach with experience to help elevate Watson’s game.

O'Brien's only job should be to keep lockerroom and get the guys to play hard.

Given that these guys are professionals who have made it to the highest levels of their sport (and are often playing for new contracts), that shouldn't be too hard for him.

11-5 Second winningest team in franchise history despite the obvious holes at 2 of the most important positions in football. Some people on this MB would be b!tching if Gaine/BOB did the impossible and won a SB.

Was listening to the post game show on 610 today...Some moron called in talking about Hopkins needing to " get better at beating the double team.." and stated he tries to shake too much at the LOS.....This after the guy had 12 catches for 147 yds recieving today in a 115 receptions 1500 yd 11 TD season.....where he's basically been doubled team every damn game..... Nevermind DW4 being the 1st qb to take 60 sacks in a season in like 4 years b/c of a terrible o-line....you know, the elephant in the room. Num nuts calls in to complain and critique our best offensive player....I mean you can't make this stuff up...

& it's the same **** on here really.....nonstop bitching b/c about **** that most on here bitching have no damn clue about.

Yeah, it’s O’Brien

Why did he show these runs today against Jax till the last quarter. Should have used it in the playoffs.

Maybe he thought playing a home playoff game is better than one and done

Ladies and gentleman we have the Houston Watsons

Let me ask you, at the start of the season if I would've told you the Texans would've finished 11-5 and not lost a game by more than a TD would you have been happy?

I think most would be happy with that outcome …

But damn , starting 0-3 and getting beat by two teams you are clearly better than …. with so many questionable coaching decisions. Damnit , this team should have won 13 games even with a questionable OL and thin secondary.

Love all the people saying how winning the division means nothing. Go ask the colts, jags or titans fans if it means nothing. Go ask anyone in the Pats division that they have been feasting on if it means nothing. Hell go ask any NFL player or coach if it means nothing. We are a bunch of arm chair QB/coaches/GM that have mostly played football in college at best sitting here saying how it means nothing.

Really is no glass half full here for some, either we win the SB or we suck. Even though the season was turned around, a 9 game winning streak, a QB that looks like he is just one step from being true elite level after this being his first full season, a HoF WR that we have locked down for several years still, a HoF defense player that we feared was done but has come back to almost full form and, oh yeah, THE SEASON ISN'T OVER YET.

But please everyone go on about how this team sucks and we are all doomed. Y'all must be real fun at parties.
