**Official Game-Day Thread** Bills at Texans, Sunday Oct 14, 2018!!

If we win 11 games like this, we'll get our assholes violated against a real team in the playoffs.

Just like we did against Kansas City that one year, for example.

If you continue to 'win ugly," you're not going to be successful. That means your success is based on luck and bounces and when real life (a real team) smacks you in the ******* face, you'll fold like a house of cards.
This. The two most important things moving forward for this franchise are Deshaun's Watson's health and development, and both are negatively affected by this regime. Barely beating bad teams at home doesn't redeem that.

The Texans could find a way to win a Super Bowl and make it look like they lost. They could give out replica rings like the Astros have done and most fans wouldn't want to be seen with it. It's not the whole team. It's the offense. They're terrible from top to bottom and they have been since he (O'Brain) arrived. Every single thing he's accomplished here was done on the back of first Gary Kubiak's assembled (but aging) talent pool on offense and Romeo Crennel's expert use of Wade Phillips defense (now also aging).

We should fire him. There's not a reason in existence to argue that we shouldn't. Bill O'Brain has been the single biggest problem with the Texans since he arrived and what's the worst that would happen with the team under Crennel without O'Brain? Our offense will stink? Worse than it already does?

Just send the man on his way and let Watson and Sean Ryan throw together something for that side of the ball. Open auditions basically and make sure everyone knows that the guy behind you gets a shot if you can't get it done. That's all you can do. Then ride Crennel's defense until it breaks down and then pick up the pieces at the end of the year.

Dilly Dilly!

I thought our DLine was going to feast today. What happened? I saw Clowney pulling some hair, but other than that ....

:cricket:

It doesn't make me mad like it did to begin the season so that's something but it's impossible not to see that this offense, regardless of how talented one or more of the skill players on it is (or was when that player got here) is trash. It's a garbage unit that just makes mistakes and has no cohesion at all. It's like Watson had better timing and chemistry with his receivers when he just stepped in from the 2nd team.

Defense has something going on. Offense is just terrible. Terrible.

BOB is the worst offensive coordinator in the NFL by far and is in the bottom 3 of head coaches. Watson’s future is at risk with this joke of a coach whose offenses have been an abject failure as a Texan. He deserves to be fired after this game. Playing Davenport is coaching malpractice. He is the worst NFL lineman I have ever seen

250yds, 7 sacks, 15+ qb hits, 11+ tackles for loss, our receivers disappear and no redzone work. This is what the offense looks like when it's all on O'Brien instead of the "Watson save us!" offense.

Yep this is what it looks like when your franchise QB is hurt and shouldn't be playing.

I am not defending OB, and not saying the line is not at fault for some of Watson’s mistakes, but securing the football is a fundamental understanding that Watson should know by this point in his career. These fumbles are on him too. No excuses.
When you have the chest injuries that Watson is dealing with, it affects grip and it affects ability to clutch the ball tightly against the chest.

Watson keeps throwing overly ambitious balls to the end zone. How many of his picks have come from that. He needs to mature and calm down.

Tell you what. Jax is not the same team as last year. Them keeping bortles is like the texans extending OB

This is what happens when you're on your 3rd string LT.

Bortles sucking and Fournette missing has brought the Jags back to the pack.

How is this OL even worse than last year when we had guys like Giacomini and XSF. I like Gaine’s first draft class and realize that Tricky Rick fucked him on draft picks, but he can’t keep trotting out this OL.

This is what they're stuck with for this yr.

I just hope Watson survives and doesn't become gun shy.

Better than barely losing at good teams.

The more they play together the better they should get. Takes time. Rankin needs to be 100% before he returns too. Everybody needs offensive linemen. Seems like two or three good ones went in last years draft just before Texans were on the clock, which is why I suggested they trade up a few spots, lol

With Watson having busted ribs and coming off a partially deflated lung I would bench Watson next week and play Weeden.
Watson should have never been cleared to play today. I tried to present his likely injuries based on the exams he was undergoing throughout the Cowboys game. The injuries I suspected and were made light of came to finally be revealed only just before the game........by Jay Glazer.......not the Texans, the not the Houston media, not even CBS before or during the game broadcast.

Man the more I think about it, DW4 decision making and OB coaching is the same. Awful. DW4 was God awful today. Dont want to hear about injuries. His coach rolled him out there. He must be ok. I mean he is the franchise

Wow. Cowboys now lead 24-0 over the Jaguars.
The Titans are losing to the Ravens did you say?

Texans about to be in first place in the AFC South!
A three-way tie. Texans, Titans and Jaguars all 3-3.

Those first place Houston Texans!!!!

Halftime: Cowboys 24, Jaguars 0

Woah baby. I think the Texans will beat the Jaguars next Sunday. We may take over sole possession of the AFC South if the Titans keep losing.

Make it four wins in a row!

Many people thought the Jaguars would cruise to the AFC South division title this year. They were trendy Super Bowl picks. LOL

Dude love your enthusiasm, but you you realize at some point DW4 isnt gonna get up. Wouldn't be suprised if at some point we dont see him spitting up blood on the sideline. He was awful today because he is messed up.

I can only go by what he says or what the medical staff is saying. All I heard after the game today was he was sore but in a very good mood after the win.

I'm sure he'll be limited in practice all week but will be a "go" by Sunday at Jacksonville. I still hope we can bolster our offensive line before the trade deadline in a few weeks.

Sorry for typos. Rushing home now from H-E-B.
Got to hurry before the Astros game starts! LOL

We go as far as he goes, he is on borrowed time. This sucks. The whole league loves this kid. We are watching him be destroyed physically and mentally

Also, Jacksonville will be at home after getting their asses handed them on the road 2 straight weeks.

Going into the season, I thought the AFC South had really improved and would be one of the better divisions.
