**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Jaguars, Dec 17, 2017!!

So much confusion; players pointing at one another on both sides of the ball. Definitely not a good sign.

Also, Kevin Johnson is unbelievably bad. I think the defense was actually better on the weeks he was out injured.

This is a pathetic excuse of a team. Losing 21 - 0 to the Hags. Smdh

If this whuppin leads to FO changes.... or at LEAST a different mindset in the friggin FO. Game on

I think you're giving McNair and son too much credit. In reality, all we can do is convince over 72,000 Houston fans to stay home on Sundays .... and I'm afraid that will never happen !

that's why I threw in "at least a different mindset".... don't deny me a Christmas miracle

To be honest, we're not winning this one, so I'm fine with the JAX winning the division, rather them than thet Tits...

Back-up receivers are smoking Joseph, Jackson and Johnson; and of course the guys most other NFL teams call safeties - here they're just mere on-lookers out for a stroll.

Me either. It just doesn't matter anymore. Hasn't for some time really. Watching them go all clusterfsk on the coaches though? That's kind of entertaining at this point.

I wonder if anyone will show up to O'Brien's press conference?

some of these guys we know can play better than this. The defense isn't just being outplayed. They're giving up and that happens in lost seasons when the team stops buying what their coaches are selling. Not a big deal really. It doesn't mean the coaches have lost the locker room for good. It means everyone in there understands what this is. Get to the end, try not to get hurt. We'll come back at it next year when everyone's healthy and see what we can do.

We should all be fine with that at this stage in the season. What we need to do though is watch for any carry over into next season. That and get Vrabel out of there as DC. He's not getting it done. Not even close. His defense was costing us games when Watson was still out there blowing peoples minds. Who cares if he goes someplace else. He's not making it happen here.

Yeah....as much as I had faith in Vrabel the results speak loud and clearly.

But if I’m McNair it doesn’t matter because I’d wipe out the whole staff and front office.

Really, I’d have done that a while ago.

In 6 quarters this season the Jags have outscored the Texans 60-7.

Not surprising. This is one of the worst Texans teams (once Watson went out). This Jaguars team would have swept the 2011 and 2012 Texans. They've actually beaten a couple of legit Super Bowl contenders and in-the-not-so-distant-past winners of the big game. The Texans have never done that, they've always gotten handled by those type of teams.

2017 Jaguars > any Texans team.

The Jags brought in Coughlin , Campbell , Bouye and changed the culture . We will be suckling on hind teet for awhile .

That's probably what they should do, but it won't happen. They don't want to change with the qb. In terms of Vrabel, he's been terrible. People act like the it's automatic to go from position coach to coordinator. None of the units have played well. Guys are running naked, uncontested passes. We saw it vs pats and Seahawks when the defense couldn't hold any kind of lead. I would try to get Mangini or get RAC to come back down.

In my mind's eye I see the opposite. If OB does not get canned, we can bolster the Oline, and something changes in the defensive coordinator dept (Vrabel has another year/Romeo takes charge a bit more), revenge over the Jags will be sweet for years to come with Watson.
